The uncaring carers company
I have carers from this company 4 times daily 7 times a week in the last week which has been the hottest on record I did not get a was on any day or change of bedding and I am bed bound and have to have a special hospital bed with the special inflatable mattresses to stop bed sores which is great but not if you have no sheet on it and lie on the rubber cover and in this heat I ve been waking up soaking from head to toe in sweat and still no sheet or change of blankets or duvet covers I have a morning call which is 30mins a dinner call 45mins and tea and evening calls both being 30mins it s not a free service I do pay for it but I m the last week my normal career is on holiday and I ve had carers come in and not ask what I wanted to eat but microwave the quickest meal put my medication down and shot out of the door in 15 minutes when they are supposed to ask me what I would like and then hoover and dust the room because I have lung issues and am very allergic to the dust mite but in one whole week not one single carer has done it and it got so bad that on Friday the district nurse got the hoover out herself and cleaned up for me the kitchen bin lid would not close because of the rubbish stacked on it which not only smelt but also had loads of flys around my flat and my kitchen floor looked like a market cafe not one carer could get the mop out and I have a very small kitchen because they rush out I ve not finished my meal which I do in 30mins but not 15mins so I ve got dirty plates on my hospital bed table for the next 4hrs till I get my next visit I also found out today that for 3 weeks my dinner time call went from 30 mins to 45 mims so I can get help having a full wash not only has it ever happened they have never stayed that time I ve been charged for all last week when they have not been in my flat for 30mins they do nothing in half the time and still takes the full amount from me I want my money Reimbursed as I didn t get what I payed for but once again the office just fob you off and do not take you serious and do not care that s why after this I am going to the vac because they need to know and everybody else does what Appalling service we are getting and how a big company is ripping its clients off by providing half the service but then bill you for for the service you didn t get as well it s not down to me to tell every carer on every call what has to be done if I am having a I ll day it s like a lottery win for the carer on that day they can get out even faster because I am not aware I am on a lot of medication and it s time sensitive and I am diabetic and the calls are surposed to be 4hrs apart I ve been with them 3 years now and they know this everybody I m the office knows and my hospital clinic has even phoned them as well as the district nurses but 3 years down the line when one of my main carers are off I will get a very late tea call and a very early evening call and expect you to eat and take your medication s hour and 45mins between and not 4hours and when I tell the evening call it s way too late I will overdose it I take them tablets now and can t eat as I am still full they start getting shirty and say there not coIng back so it s tough they do that mostly weekends because the office is shut and on Monday they say they are sorry it s the carers fault won t happen again but it does and always will I ve had to get a friend to print out what needs to be done on each and every call and had them all on the kitchen cupboards because they never look in the care plan I ve had to put no phone signs everywhere as well because they was going in the kitchen and just going on there phoned instead of cleaning and taking the rubbish out and then I had to put cctv cameras because my regular carers was off they would come back in and things in the bathroom and kitchen was missing and another time my nurse complained about a male carer and next morning he came into my home shouting at me in my face and it was not even his call they told me to put it in writing as it s very serious so I did and never heard back I have a small fridge and separate under the counter freezer but they kept leaving the door open and it wouldn t shut for ice around the door and food was getting thrown out and that s from a food bank I can t afford to replace but you phone the office and they don t care I kept having to pay someone to come and defrost it all and start again but it got that bad I had to get a small chest freezer from a Catalouge paying monthly which is not in my budget I ve had it 5 weeks now and they have left the lid wide open 4 times and they did it in last weeks heatwave and I had to wait 4hrs till the next carer to come in and close it so more food got binned I told the office and was told the same thing I will text the carer now and tell her what good is that too me I ve phoned everytime it s been left open and food thrown away they don t care I ve got more but ran out of space caring company NOT

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS
Where do i start First things first Don t accept Magnus as your carer we have COUNTLESS issues every single week with my mum The team in chadderton also dont care about their customers Leanne Wilson especially has an attitude doesn t really understand the needs of a vulnerable person or what their family are experiencing She ignores you as much as possible The staff know that some of the carers steal physically hurt emotionally torture old people but choose to ignore it Dont let this bogus company look after your loved ones you ll be sorry we were

Poor and should be better
I should start by saying that there are some nice carer providers and out of office call workers that I have spoken too However their system is clearly broken and needs fixing from the top down I was told that they were the preferred care provider and to be honest at first the were teething problems which should have got better There is alot of recorded complaints and other complaints made about there own reports times poor communication safety ppe medications not being kept on top of incorrect medications which led to medical assistance recycling tidying up not listerning washing clothes and giving OOD food etc I have received some letters surrounding medication accepting responsibility My concern is that there were 5 months of headaches and in the end Meridian Nottingham was removed I would not personally recommend them as a care provider and I feel the CQC needs to better manage and the Social Services need to monitor

My dad had used the Manchester branch of this company since January this year My sister and I can t get to my dad s as much as we d like with work commitments so we employed this company through the NHS My dad is 91 stone deaf has dementia and all the carers only speak basic broken English Even I can t understand what there talking about and it s impossible to explain to them They turn up when they want giving microwave meals at 11am instead of sandwiches which the family provide food for breakfast lunch and dinner They don t fill the log book in for upto a week then back date it which is illegal as it s a legal document They call for ten minutes maximum then sit outside in there car for an hour before going There s obviously no monitoring though when you call the office the staff are clueless One carer was throwing bin bags from the kitchen into the back garden and not the bin outside One carer hasn t even got a bicycle so relies on buses and walking all day They give him his medication which is what matters to us though he had diarrhoea with them reheating a microwave meal later in the day There s clearly no common sense training or care from anybody within the company Im in the process of moving to another company at they can t be any worse

Worst care company and useless management
Wouldn t trust this company to look after a hamster never mind the elderly managers in Nottingham are a total waste of space only look after the sponsors don t care about the English workers just the foreigners who have to get 40 hours a week my partner is lucky if she gets half that complaints get swept under the carpet sponsors not doing the job right and putting clients at risk and the managers don t care

Caring nothing is to much trouble reliable honest hard working regular staff feel like friends I would have no hesitation leaving my husband in their care I would have no hesitation about recommending them to anyone
