Metacritic is just a place for sour people who pretend to be critics Enough said I stay away from this site I never even read their reviews because I know they are not written in a neutral way It s just a bunch of people who takes a dump on something they didn t like I you want real reviews just go to the IMDB atleast their scores are realistic

I gave an honest bad review of a game

I gave an honest bad review of a game called Super Smash Bros Ultimate in which I went very in to depth why I dislike the competitive side of the game where I told the reader that in my opinion its better as a game to have fun with I literally typed 4021 words explaining everything without saying anything hateful offensive and I didnt lie about anything since I researched everything that I wanted to make sure off I even gave the review a 7 star but they banned me from giving any more reviews and they rermoved my previous review My name is DaNeDAVeeto in metacritic s incase someone does t trust me

Is it only me or Metacritic is deleting

Is it only me or Metacritic is deleting bad reviews and so by doing this giving one particular product a better review as it deserves When I write a review I also put my detailed reasons of my review so to help others see the clear picture and verify themselves This is very bad practice very dishonest Such a shame

see movies and judge by yourself

i watch a lot of sci fi shut your brain movies to pass the time as well as comedies they give low scores for movies like pirates of the caribbean a 63 tranformers 1 2 3 a score of 61 43 35 consecutively just watched a movie called what happens in vegas with a score of 36 but enjoyed it Almost famous was a good movie for which they gave a score of 90 Metacritic reviews gave Ghost the one with patrick swayze a 52

Not much critic in their reviews

Not much critic in their reviews they pretty much just give every album a great review Clearly they are just providing referral links to online streaming services for kickbacks so no matter how bad an album is it gets an 82

I have had reviews removed both

I have had reviews removed both positive and negative that were thoughtful of TV shows and movies and also clean and respectful in language with no notification to me I reviewed a recent tv show giving it around a 7 out of 10 the other day but maybe that was not high enough for them as they quietly removed it I have also had reviews that refuse to post Terrible and unprofessional behavior I need to make sure I save them in a document first next time

Got banned for a joke

They removed my reviews and banned me for making a joke about the review bombing situation with Dying Light 2 The joke in question was I m glad they removed the Italian dub that was my only problem with the first game because some petty Italians were review bombing the game unfairly

Since Trust Pilot forces people to censor their reviews or get taken down for weeks I will keep this simple and let you come to your own conclusion Metacritic bans reviewers reason irrelevant You do not get a notification or reason of why nor any warning you will just see that you can t post a review anymore one day Once banned all of your reviews are gone You can search for more info on this and it s recommended to do so I am dismayed that I can no longer trust its reviews as it was the last one I actually trusted Normally one would expect just the offending review to be edited or removed
