Terrible experience

Terrible experience They advertise free shipping over a certain out yet they still charge shipping When I reached out for a refund I guess I asked too many questions about my order so they canceled it without me asking the associate I dealt with was named Matt He was rude nasty and then summarily canceled my order I guess because he thinks he has some sort of power in life because he works for Miami sample sale with a joke Also this is the second review that mentions Matt by name when you think that Miami sample sale would get a clue I would never buy from them again Also if you read the responses by Miami sample sale in these trust pilot reviews They are so defensive This is clearly not a customers always right company try 260 sample sale Excellent customer service The response below from Miami sample sale illustrates clearly the poor customer service I experienced Thanks for confirming to the reader This must be Matt writing this The response from Miami sample sale is an aggressive lie How dare they say I don t understand like I m an idiot If you re reading this ask yourself would a reputable company respond like this Would Bloomingdales talk to someone this way No Miami sample sale are liars and talk down to people Were the customers spending money we have the power NOT YOU Furthermore Miami sample sale DID offer to replace my prefer with free shipping in the end That illustrates that i proved my point I then declined after the power trip from Matt I wish i could post the screenshots Miami sample sale check your CUSTOMER service Matt and this person below are costing you thousands Let them GO

Will not deal with them again

Placed 2 orders- one for Kevyn Aucoin makeup and brushes totaling 473 20 and Baobab for a 365 00 a month ago now Emailed customer service about the status of the orders as I didn t receive any updates coming up on a month now The story was that it s still coming from the brand and it s stuck in customs Finally received an email that the make up was shipped- I was so excited Kept track of the shipment through UPS one delivery date turned into another at a later date to ending up transferring to the USPS for final delivery It said delivered at mailbox finally to not finding any package- not in mailbox or anywhere around Immediately went to file a claim with UPS who would not be able to take my claim and referred me to contact the vendor Contacted Miami Sample Sale they referred me back to get in touch with USPS as they are no longer responsible for package after it says delivered I asked why it s first UPS the USPS chain They sent a printed explanation how it works I tried to file a claim with USPS and they would not accept it online Had to go in person to try trace it- and they are trying to work on it Meanwhile Miami Sample Sale said at most they can do is honor 100 because that s how much insurance will cover Long story short- month later no make up and second order not even shipped Today I wake up to an email that the second order was canceled It s so frustrating I m going to file a claim with the bank and get my money back Not sure if other people experience something different but sharing my experience here and anywhere I can leave a review

Beware - may or may not receive items

I spent about 300 on a sample sale 7 weeks ago The specific sale said it would take 1-4 weeks to ship because they hadn t received items from the company yet I wanted to give them ample time before bothering them especially with it being the holidays but finally started to try to contact them as I ve received no items and no updates Messaged them for a week on instagram with no response Emailed them and received an update that five of the six items I ordered were out of stock they were swimsuit sets so it didn t matter that one item was in stock when it s matching piece was not Not sure why it took me reaching out nearly two months later to receive that info but okay I have asked for a refund which is now being processed but again - not sure why it took ME reaching out 7 weeks later when they ve had hundreds of dollars of mine and knew they had no items for me I ve ordered from them two other times - one time was great no issues and the other I had issues with shipping and customer service as well but not nearly to this extent and I did receive those items eventually Very frustrated with their service and starting to get a scammy vibe from them after reading others reviews as well

Beware of Miami Sample

They do giveaways for almost every sale they do and never follow through I ve spoken with several giveaway winners from different giveaways and they all say they never received their prizes It s almost like they just do it for engagement on their Instagram I won a giveaway back in September of 2023 and it s now almost March of 2024 and still haven t received anything I ve emailed several times and all they say is our warehouse is backed up and we ll reach out to the founder Well that doesn t do anything because there is no prize It s all fake This company is extremely unethical and lies to its customers

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service my package took 24 days to come and was an expensive order and it came missing a product I wrote an email stating I was upset my order wasn t complete not knowing they didn t send all my products in different packages and asked for help then I was harassed by the customer service agent Matt screaming in capital letters and being extremely rude to me Horrible way to speak to a customer who was just concerned about her order When I only claimed that after paying 71 dollars for an order it comes without an item And he proceeds to still be rude I am only a teenager and I was excited order from them with my savings that s why I was concerned when it came incomplete I m disgusted and I will never shop from here again and I ll make sure everyone I know in Miami doesn t either

Lack of Communication Around Items in My Order That Weren t Available

I ordered an XXS of a pant from their Donni sample sale I was made aware at the time of my order that it could take 4-5 weeks to ship which I was ok with I followed up 4 weeks in to get a status update as we were nearing the end of that window and they shared that the stock was on its way to their warehouse I followed up again at the 6 week mark because I had not received tracking and my friend who ordered the exact same style in a XS had received hers I was then informed that they never received any stock in XXS but they could offer me a XS or a refund I chose the XS because I was excited about the pants they said they would inform the warehouse and advise tracking once shipped I hadn t heard anything 4 days later so I followed up AGAIN and was informed that they warehouse didn t have any extra XS s and refunded me They were quick to respond but it was frustrating that I wasn t informed that the XXS and XS weren t available until I followed up

Never got my order

Never got my order I ordered from Baobab Sample Sale on July 18 almost 7 weeks ago and never got my order And I notice they delete comments on Instagram if you try to question about this which is giving scammer company I understand delays can happen but after seeing the reviews from here I don t believe it s just a delay

Beware of this company

Beware of this company and its business practices Two items I ordered took a while to be shipped and when they finally were shipped I did not receive them The customer service refused to do anything including contact the shipping company they chose The proof of delivery does not indicate where the items were actually delivered

Do not trust this website

Placed order 2 months ago Order not received or cancelled No clue where it is Website is a scam My items were held up at customs and now nothing No more communication or updates No responses Edited to add I m not sure why they are lying and saying this is fake they are definitely not confused with another business Sketchy company
