Michael s in Sacramento CA

I shopped at the Michael s in Sacramento CA I went in to pick up a jar of Modpodge for a project Landed up getting 3 glass jar candles on a special Cashier was extremely helpful and nice Other staff members were very helpful I checked out but didn t need a bag I packed up my car with the 3 glass jars Well one of them rolled off of my car seat crashing onto the parking lot pavement I went back inside to let them know what happened The cashier told me to go select another one and instructed a staff member to clean it up I was pleasantly surprised by this kind gesture I m a senior citizen and this meant a great deal to me I didn t get her name but kudos for wonderful customer service

This was my first visit to this brand new Michaels Very clean and organized Found the cake pan I wanted andand other things I needed When I got to the checkout I was met by Jasmine a friendly kind and knowledgable employee She answered my questions about coupons and gave me good advice That kind of service is rare these days and I really appreciated it

Dominque and Chris were the friendliest customer service reps I have dealth with in awhile I was walking around the clean store and Dominique offered me a cart Chris pulled my items down earlier that I called in for pick-up They worked so well together and were so friendly We live in Germantown but I will come back to this store b c of their helpful ways Good job Michaels for hiring these two

Artists as employees how wonderful

Dwayne was a sales person who is also an artist in the Charlottesville Virginia area He spoke with me about my art and helped me pick just the right supplies for what I was looking to do I really loved his positive attitude and friendly nature

Love Michael s It has become my go-to store for craft supplies My only complaint is at checkout Most people especially in my age category refuse to use self-checkout We like being able to talk to people as we checkout and also to know it is being done right With only 1 cashier available we had a long line at checkout In fact I was watching 1 person at self-check out She had a shirt scanned it several times but it wouldn t scan She shrugged and put the shirt in her bag and walked out
