MIELE NORTH KOREAN QUALITY
In 6 years we have burned through 4 dishwasher 2 washing machines a stove and an iron machine NEVER ever buy Miele Too expensive no service North Korean quality I am back to Wirhlpool 20 of the costs and a great machine that does not break down

Absolutely THE NUMBER 1 WORST SERVICE
Absolutely the number 1 of worst client service I have ever dealt with and now I see other reviews below and I m so not surprised I need to repair a leaking machine since 1 month - a problem we already encountered in the past before and under advice of the Miele monteur we bought a 10 year warranty from Miele to protect ourselves from same issue in future Now - first HUGE problem is to actually have someone on the phone you try to call anytime of the day - you always wait more then 10 minutes 20 30 today was 45 and sometimes line cuts 2 - not a single person out of at least 15 people I had on the phone with the Miele client service line gave the same answer how incredible is that It s like they were trained to be INCOMPETENT First lady forgets to confirm my appointment second lady confirms me this appointment that was at the end not confirmed third person promises to call back and never does 4th person says you will receive a confirmation email 5th person says you won t 6th person says - oh yes you will but only on sunday are you sure 7th person tells you no we don t call back on sunday and by the way we never send confirmation emails - it s like THESE PEOPLE ARE PAID TO MAKE CLIENTS CRAZY The monteur oh the monteur - my fave part of the story - who comes eventually after 2 missed appointments that were not confirmed by his brilliant colleagues this USELESS man shows up at home follows me to the machine not even giving it a proper look and of course he didn t even touch it examined it or looked closer to it he just looked from behind my back i mean not even he put his nose on the level of the meachine to see the issue and he says 1 phrase it s negligence I was like waaaat pardon me what do you mean He explains that this problem of tore joint happens when you repeatedly wash clothing that is going out of the door like when you shut the door on top of clothing and it stays stuck I explain then to the MR that I believe him but it s not the case here maybe at least because this kind of washing never happened to this machine I just explain him my point gently like that And I also add thta we already encountered similar issue before couple of years ago when we bought the machine and his colleague actually advised to buy the warranty for future but didn t say anything this guy said And I receive the answer of Mr WALL literally he had the level of emotions of a wall or a brick or a may be stone IT S YOUR WORD AGAINST MINE Like li-te-rally he said that I can t even explain how enraged I am - having paid for the insurance of 10 years under advise of Miele monteur who repaired same thing and now another monteur telling how I should wash my clothing and adds that it s his word against mine it s a complete nonsense So I called in front of him waited 20 mins for someone to reply and explained the situation the person on the phone told me that I can leave a complaint with her and wait for a call back I left a complaint monteur left without repairing anything and it s been a week and no one called I have right now waited for exactly 45 minutes to get a person on the phone who told me that she doesn t know when I m going to be contacted And my machine is still not working and I m boiling right now on how bad the service is for the brands that is supposed to be the best So never ever in my life I would buy anything from Miele again I will certainly not recommend Miele to all my friends And to all the people I don t know I will recommend via all the possible forums to stay away from your brand

Miele Website Terrible Experience
On Miele s website I bought a dishwasher which indicated a delivery within 3-5 days They request the full amount up front I paid it 9 days and 3 phone calls later they inform me that the delivery will be in 6 months Not 6 days 6 weeks 6 months I told them ok that might happen I guess even to a giant like Miele So I asked for a refund immediately Then the fun began I called them 5 times I sent them 6 emails Emails got no response The customer service everytime on the phone told me that I will receive the money back in 1 week The calls were already 1 week apart It has now been 1 month and no refund yet Miele s website behaves like MieleFor1DolarReallyTrustUs com They would both first get your money They sell you a dream in hopefully 6 months or so if the winds are with them And when you ask for your money back they become quite I couldn t have believed for a second that I would have to file an official complaint to regulatory authorities to get my money back from the giant company Miele As a summary don t buy anything from that website Your money will be gone for an indeterminate time

Buying the Twindos washing machine was a big mistake
I have a twindos machine that would not do the maintenance the error was insufficient cleaning agent Your engineer was very good and polite and did his best but throughout the process I was made to feel that it was my fault that I had not maintained the twindos system However I am still getting the same message when cleaning compartment 1 the engineer said I can use an empty cartridge half-filled with water but this does not work I have to fill it completely and even then it does not work all the time The engineer used a specific cleaning container but after spending 1000 euro on a washing machine I am really not going to spend another 50 euro buying your empty container If regular maintenance is so important to the twindos system then why don t you provide one with the machine on purchase Quite frankly I feel like I am trapped with a machine that I really don t want and is high maintenance Even buying your liquid now pains me My last Miele washing machine lasted 16 years without ever having a problem It never let me down once which is why I just bought another Miele without checking other brands This is the last Miele product I buy I now have to go through the hassle of calling out another engineer

Extremely poor customer service
I have two Miele products a washing machine and a dishwasher The washing machine is not rinsing the clothes and is not evacuating the water after the washing cycle clothes are wet and soapy I called the customer service to have the washing machine repaired This is not a cheap service being a Miele it costs 343 euro and the commitment is that the service will be done with a one year warranty After paying this the same technician came twice in a row and had the same statement - there is an accumulation of soap that cannot be removed it takes 4-6 months for the soap to come by itself He agrees as well that the washing machine is not usable in this time He could take out the soap but it takes up to 4 hours and he has no time Then a specialist came and said the same He logged in his visit that the problem has no solution After the specialist visit the service department logged one complaint that the appliance is bad No outcome Then the Miele service team asked me to call to the sales team who kept me on the phone for 15 minutes then shouted at me that they have no solution So then the service team logged another complaint the second one How long does the complaint take to solve They don t know Mind that various people talk to you each time they all want the same story all over they all provide various complaint and incident numbers each of them apologizes or gets angry but none does anything To summarise - I paid 343 euro had three visits from Miele that ended up nowhere had 7-8 calls with Miele had a sales person shouting and a bad washing machine that may take 4-6 months to fix by itself Please consider this when you pay for a Miele appliance twice as much as for any other similar product

Broken after 3 weeks had to pay myself
I have recently bought washing machine from Miele based on its reputation and quality I was so shocked when I came home and discovered a water leak and broken door rubber When technician from Miele finally came 2 weeks later he said straight away that it was caused by my incorrect usage of product He introduced a bill of 300 euros because it was not under warranty terms I was so shocked Miele had blamed it on me after just 3 weeks of usage and for such a high price service cost Moreover my previous appliances of much cheaper brand never had this happening since I gave it away when installing new Miele I left without any choice but to follow this manipulative approach after being blamed and that that my incorrect usage it s not covered by warranty this is outstanding and shocking for a brand like Miele I also received another document about safety check that technician didn t say a word about conducting it without any notice or consent from my side and driving a conclusion about unsafe installation This is not just hiding information and acting without customer consent but intentionality not communicating as per his report unsafe state if I am not to receive full compensation for this outstanding customer service I will have to take a legal action

Just waiting waiting and Zapp the end
Just wanted to ask if they have replacement transport safety bars for my washing machine WDB030 Mine were taken by the delivery guys after installation These parts are not to find on the webpage I tried a couple of times to call but waiting time is pretty long I invested some time and after 15 min I got an agent She took my request and put it on hold to check for the part After 10-15 min on hold the call was just aborted My email a couple of days earlier hasn t been replied to as well That s not great customer service Greetings Reent

Miele helpdesk is there to trouble you
I bought a spare part for my freezer from Miele less than a year ago The spare part broke down so I sent an email to Miele to ask if this could be replaced under the warranty of the product and everything went wrong since then Miele helpdesk never responds to emails if you call them they apologise and act like they are on your side but there is never ever any follow up Each time you call the helpdesk you have to speak to a different person who cannot find the details of previous discussions on the case there is no case number to ensure continuity and efficiency in the discussion Helpdesk will order new products and send them to you at your expense and will never ask you if you actually wanted to buy a replacement product Feels like you deal with a wall in front of you all the time After all discussions I received 2 times the same replacement product which I never asked in the first instance and Miele is chasing me to pay for those invoices Customer service is not in the dictionary of Miele Horrible company stay away from Miele if you can

Miele has failed delivery 3 times
Order was placed on 25 11 We have been contacted by Miele arranging delivery to 28 12 and told them that an elevator will be needed to pick the item upstairs Miele agreed to arrange the elevator service On 28 12 delivery arrived - not knowing about the elevator We were contacted by Miele again placing the delivery on 04 12 Delivery people came but there was again no elevator - because Miele specified wrong timelines to the driver Now today 11 12 another delivery was attempted and AGAIN - elevator and delivery people came on the wrong time and missed each other Now 3 weeks after placing an order for a premium item with premium brand - we are still waiting for delivery because Miele fails to arrange the logistics

Average quality and bad customer service
Miele lives off a past reputation for quality that is not was it used to be it s not better than any other average decent but cheaper brand and the customer service is very disappointing My washing machine broke down just short of 8 years a piece of the spider flange broke off Unlike other brands and their much more expensive professional line they do not sell that piece as spare part you have to buy the way more expensive entire drum Add in the labour cost to install it and a reparation does not make economical sense yes planned obsolescence comes to mind you can toss an otherwise perfectly working machine So much for all the promises of quality and sustainability I figured before I start sharing my disappointment around I might let Miele know about it 1st After I wrote a detailed message someone called me while I was not expecting anything given the reviews here he was understanding and referred the case to complaints and maybe they could do a gesture because Miele stands by its products it could take 1-2 weeks he said I was pleasantly surprised and thought if they offered some discount on a new one that would mean they indeed do stand by their products Nothing heard after over 2 weeks I called another man told me that my case was closed and they can t do anything other than send a technician at over Eur 300 a visit I don t need to pay him to tell me that my machine is a total loss I know So not only nobody in the complaints department bothered to ask for technical details and photos they also don t bother letting you know that the case is closed
