Post Natal Anxiety
After having my fourth child I began to experience quite severe Post Natal Depression Anxiety I was struggling to understand what was wrong with me and why I felt so awful I found normal day to day activities and mothering really difficult and was experiencing panic attacks and constant anxiety I went to the doctors and was offered medication however wanted to try an alternative approach first I heard about Natalie through a friend and although was nervous to begin with Natalie was a fantastic listener and understood all of what I was saying It was amazing to have someone to talk to that really understood what I was going through Within Natalie s sessions we did hypnotherapy which began to take the edge off of my anxiety from the first week The physical symptoms especially panic attacks were gone within four sessions and I looked forward to meeting her each week as I knew I would be getting closer to being myself again after each one I found hypnotherapy very relaxing and let me connect with myself which I haven t done in years as a busy Mum Natalie is very knowledgable about anxiety and depression and was able to explain to me why this was all happening scientifically which I found most Doctors just don t do I cannot recommend Natalie enough The hypnotherapy and understanding have helped me to get back on my feet and carry on If you suffer from PND or PNA don t suffer alone give Natalie a try she got me back to living a normal life at a very difficult time My daughter is now 3 years old and I look back at the time I felt so anxious and down as a distant memory Natalie was fundamental in my coping with the post natal anxiety and being able to move forward so quickly I am forever grateful

In a nutshell the Sleep in Mind course has been brilliant in fact I d go as far as to say life changing Mindfulness or Choice fulness as you call it and sleep well-being
Katie M wrote Hi Natalie In a nutshell the course has been brilliant in fact I d go as far as to say life changing Mindfulness or Choice fulness as you call it and sleep well-being is a topic I m interested in anyway so a lot of threads of what were taught i had heard of before But in no way did this make the course less worthwhile The course gave me accountability It gently encouraged me to put those thoughts and ideas into practice Whilst you never asked us to share more than we felt comfortable with nor made us read from our books the very fact that I knew we had a date to discuss our progress made me find time rather than letting life take over Sometimes new habit forming requires this incentive even when it s a habit we want and we know will serve us well Not only that but your teaching gave me much more detailed understanding than simply reading the topic had provided it also gave v necessary new perspective I ve come away feeling I ve a new skill that I really want to make time for I joked at our last session but honestly it really feels like I ve learnt myself a super power I m not sure I d have stuck at it without that face - face support without you directly addressing the fact that sometimes it s emotional or boring or difficult You gave me permission to feel think all those things but encouragement to keep going I m keen to find a regular time of day to practice if possible rather than feeling somewhat stressed I need to find time to squeeze it in But that will come with time For now I m just really pleased I ve finally got started and I m not going to stop Katie xxx--

All round improvement by tackling my sleep with Natalie
Natalie was fantastic and through her support I went from terrible sleep patterns for months which hugely impacted my mental health and resillience to now sleeping consistently well I enjoy a much improved and noticably different qualify of sleep and most importantly have the strength to manage so much more in life work family relationships me I have adopted tools and techniques into my everyday without it being arduous Natalie also helped me think more deeply about where issues lie and has made me think so much more positively which continues to have great affect on my mental health and confidence She is brilliant and I would highly recommend

BBC Radio 5 Live listener sleep project
Before Christmas Radio 5 Live had Natalie on their Drive show talking about Sleep and how everyone is able to improve their sleep experience I called in and spoke to her on air and she kindly offered to work with me during early 2021 to help me sleep better I believed I was doomed to wake at 3 every morning and be awake for a couple of hours before dropping off again and waking up feeling dreadful Through conversations with Natalie help with the provision of audios reference to other on-line help etc I have been able to effectively change my routine to now build my sleep experience from the time I wake up through to bedtime It has taken time and all the elements around breath mindfulness light exercise etc have required commitment from me on a daily basis With that commitment I am now sleeping well and through the night which I didn t think was possible With grateful thanks to Natalie for all her support and guidance without which I m not sure I would have made it
