Just like Mom used to make My late mother owned a business and used to pay me to eat out so she could make money and couldn t cook to save her life I did all my own cooking by age fifteen

Absolutely the worst food service

Absolutely the worst food service provider My first order went without a problem The second order was absolutely awful They are supposed to provide a tracking number once the item to the customer Since no one would be at home to accept delivery once it was delivered I was supposed to receive a delivery notification so I can have another family to travel 5 miles to take the box in since no one is home and it is very hot outside Mom s meals said they did not have a tracking number and they would not reach out to UPS to get tracking information from a package they were sending me Because UPS did not give them a tracking number it is now up to me to find where the food is in spite of this heat I have ordered 3 times and I will not ever order anything else from them The customer service is absolutely awful

My husband has had deliveries without any insulation or ice packs It s 80 degrees here and the box is in the sun until we can get it in I know Mom s meal used to insulate for shipping

As a senior

As a senior who has had both Mom s Meals on Wheels NoutrishRx and Homestyle yuck all When my 90 year old mother was alive she felt the same tastes looks like garbage all Even Misfits veggies from BC health plan horrible Seniors deserve better and these meals are not cheap I m sorry to be so long but it angers me My 93-year-old Aunt told me her neighbor gave her some of her meals from one of these companies and she threw them promptly in the garbage She is well off and can afford to go out for a 50 lunch with her friends Most seniors cannot including me Shameful but at least Meals on Wheels delivers milk Wow 10 for milk I now make bologna sandwich s and cereal eggs sweets occasional frozen dinner milk and coffee cheapest

Someone made a mistake at MOMS MEALS They forgot how to count After I was told 3 times it was their mistake they still did nothing I haven t received anything from Mom s Meals for almost 4 months now I called for the 10th time to find out what s going on 2 weeks ago and was told I should get food again in November I only get 84 a month food allowance and I have 2 rare diseases and many other illnesses that good nutrition might help As far as their same menu every single week with not one meal I could say I enjoyed I would definitely not recommend putting yourself through the frustration to try and eat Moms meals obviously doesn t give 2 damns if you eat or not I bet if this happened to their family member it would of been fixed months ago Most of us on this supposed meal plan are very sick or terminal It s hard enough to get an appetite in the first place only to eat their bland tasteless meals which are better than nothing

Extremely Poor Quality Meals

I initially ordered mom s meals because I was unwell and thought it would help me to eat better After having them for 6 months I am done I am 105 pounds and the meals aren t enough to fill me up There is no real meat Everything is mixed with Soy Protein and is rubbery and tasteless All of there meals use lots of fillers like rice pasta and potatoes Today s Thanksgiving meal was the worse meal ever Bits of turkey mixed with semi raw potatoes covered in endless turkey gravy The turkey was so hard that even my dog spit it out It was supposed to include pumpkin bread but instead it came with processed pudding All in all a disaster of a meal I was self paying at 7 50 a meal but would much better off with a t v dinner Good Bye Moms Meals

Very Dissatisfied Customer s

My husband and I have been on Mom s Mealsfor many years For year s we ve been putting up with less than satisfactory meals They have way too much granola in them which causes us to throw out whatever they put it in everything Also they DO NOT COOK THIER VEGETABLES Especially the green Bean s and Carrots We think they should leave out the granola altogether and replace it with a buscut or in the dinner s a pc of Cornbread or Roll COOK THE VEGETABLES TIL DONE and not Mush ether We r extremely dissatisfied with Mom s Meal s right now We have told them over and over but nothing ever gets done about it Also THEY COULD PUT SOME NEW MEALS OUT ONCE IN A WHILE WE GET TIRED OF THE SAME OLD THING DAD AFTER DAY WOULDN T YOU Mom s Meal s need to listen to your customers But u don t As long as this keeps happening we think we re gonna cancel their service and don t recommend them to anyone Signed Very Dissatisfied Gonna be Former Customer s soon

Horrible shipping

Horrible shipping and customer service They did not communicate well with the shipper which I in turn was forced to do Correcting mistakes was left up to me the consumer Food was very bland and highly processed ingredients Fruit is low quality

Horrible delivery No doorbell was rung Delivered too late at 8 20 PM to two 88yr old infirm seniors after their daughter left for the day I will never use service again and will notify Moms Meals of the same

I would give a zero if I could Moms meals has there own delivery The deliver person puts my meals in the heat without protection I have phoned in several complaints about this One time the operatror blamed me for the ruined meals and put me on the defensive I hope no one else has this type of uncaring about customers
