Third Party Finance Company - Avoid at all costs

I ve had terrible experience with this company as a by proxy from PC Specialist After setting up a credit agreement with them it transpires that they don t accept direct debits so they force you to use a standing order but you can t do that because they change the reference every month so you have to do it manually I can t think of any other company that does this when dealing B2C especially in the finance sector They flood you with emails about how you haven t paid and how the agreement will be terminated unless you pay them I ended up having so many that I got a month in front of myself and they still kept sending them and demanding another payment I have now closed my account and paid the settlement in full five months early because the constant payment demands and threats to close the account are just tedious

TERRIBLE Company Engineered to Scam

Been a long term PC Specialist customer Recently bought a PC back in October which is how I ve experience the not so wonderful Mondu Selected installed payments on a larger order to allow 12 payments Great Some money as a deposit and you receive an email confirming your monthly payment scheudke All good Sadly not It turns out Mondu only do manual payments So no direct madate is passed from the supplier in this case PC Specialist and no standing order is infact setup When this is flagged you fall prey to dirty tactics in a number of ways which means it has likely been intentionally engineered to allow then to revoke contracts and pull income in quicker Their process is very unusual in terms of finance as seems rigged to trip terms and conditions and allow them to prey on customers Firstly financial agreements dont generally get paid manually and with the first successful payment you are given the sense all is well and it will come out the bank like every other finance option I can think Secondly they have a term clause in the agreement that if you miss two payments they can revoke the finance agreement and make you pay the full balance This can t be over written and good luck conversing with them to try and resolve falling foul of their process Which seems like another convient rule Now you could give them the benefit of the doubt on those but brings you onto three there is another line of the email and it shows each month has a rolling reference that must be used otherwise it will not be reconciled or classed as paid on your agreement So the summary is you have a company that is fronted by a trust worthy supplier with a good reputation for quality that takes the order and a first payment Then Mondu is a company underwriting that finance that has to be paid by manual bank transfers only You can t get a mandate doon You can t have a standing order because of the rolling reference decision You must manually pay each month if you miss 2 in a row or fall foul to any of the other rules then its payment in full only No discussion Just thats how it goes Free apr for them Negative review for both them and supplier using them Big outlay at one time the exact thing you selected the option to avoid I d say that was highly questionable As others have done here I have paid it but zero chance that s not going in as a negative review I don t believe for a second a company as good as PC Specialist would allow a shadey finance operation like this near their customer base Just does not feel like their M O at all Highly disappointed

Request for payment 30 days for so-called anti-fraud verification

my request for payment 30 days for my company was refused and after asking why they told me that it was due to a credit and check fraud check I have never had a single unpaid or credit and my company has never had any financial problem Of course they say they can t say more I would like a legal authority to be able to control the markers they use to come up with such lies it is certain that I will never use them as a guarantor if I was reseller due to losing customers following their false and of course non-detailed judgments
