Worst customer service ever
I send money to South Africa quite often I changed to Mukuru recently from another site that charged me 9 a time With Mukuru it comes out at about 2 and gives me pretty much the same rate I ve used it successfully three times so I m fairly confident they aren t going to disappear with my money In fact now that I ve verified my account the last transfer I made was in the recipient s bank account the same day Amazing Another reason for giving five stars is that the verification process is really simple and you can just type in some figures from your passport and utility bills - it automatically verifies whether it s genuine or not The only hassle was that I had to provide a scan of my debit card with most numbers covered over to prove I had it - but apparently that s to do with UK regulations Mukuru is providing a good service that seems to me to be more focused on helping people to help their family and friends in Africa than on making money for themselves Recommended

My first time sending money with Mukuru
I ve noticed Mukuru has a lot of Bad reviews all over the internet I dont disagree with most of them I ve also had my fair share of Mukuru bad experiences The Company as a whole is made up of people who have no idea what they are doing or how to deal with most of the situations Despite this I am giving them 5 stars because of an unexpected world class service offered by one of their employees by the name of Nomvula She listened carefully and solved the problem systematically and orderly with regular follow ups and updates which were initiated by her Well done to her She is one of the few people who realise that its the employees who make the Companies image I dont know if Mukuru offers rewards to outstanding employees who better the Company s image but if not they should start doing so because we need more people like Nomvula Well Done
