Great experience especially if it s your first time speed dating

This was a really great event especially for someone who has never experienced speeding dating before like myself The restaurant was easy to get to and the bar staff were lovely The host for the evening was really helpful and organized I think the group before us was running a bit behind but it was nice to take that time to chat with my fellow daters A lot of them were there for a second or third time so it was comforting to know they had a positive experience and wanted to return I had some great conversations and ended up matching with my top picks This was so much better than swiping on apps and awkward messaging Highly recommend

Events are always fun and it s a good way to meet new people if you want to connect with someone and or take a break from dating apps which is largely a waste of time But sometimes it can go awry due to rude selfish people either showing up late or leaving early because they decided that they don t want to give anyone else a chance which puts a severe damper on everyone else rotation and fun because of uneven parings The event team are usually on top of their game with communication which is a critical aspect because it takes 20 people to make the event work Keep in mind that they can t see the future but they do everything they can to notify you of cancellations unforeseen circumstances and other issues ASAP Hosts are always welcoming and friendly

I participated in the speed dating event in Dallas Texas and also had blind dates set up by a matchmaker I think the dates were better quality and nicer people on average as compared to online dating Kristine the matchmaker was so kind and did a good job setting me up with people that I had a lot in common with I would recommend this service to a friend

The event was very well run with a very friendly host No nametags is a plus No bell ringing either Therefore it felt pretty discrete The other guests at the hotel bar-restaurant probably had no idea we were speed-dating The scorecard on the phone was a bit awkward at first but it s definitely a great way to do it The results are available at midnight sharp which is nice Troy is super helpful and very responsive to emails I would definitely recommend this company

I wanted something interesting and different to do on Saturday and found that MyCheekydate was hosting a speed dating event I booked tickets simply to have fun and meet new people I was not disappointed The location and bar lounge were nice The host was amazing and how everything was set up and organized made for a smooth and enjoyable experience

Gay Speed Dating - different from the apps

I wasn t sure what to expect especially since there were a number of reviews that said things like fake or scam but at least the gay speed dating in Chicago is real and I called ahead to the venue to confirm that they had it reserved and that they regularly do events there We went to this admittedly very straight bar in West Loop It was a little loud but we still had a relatively private area so we were able to hear each other There were 11 guys very different body types and life experiences I ended up with one match from the experience so I m pretty happy but even if there were no matches at least it was fun and different from the apps
