What an experience
What an experience Very unfortunately our 4 persons travel group including a 81 years old lady were not accepted on board the cruise Costa Luminosa on planned departure 8th July to 15th July and followed by an accident happy to the old lady and many extra expanses The reason we were told was that two of our travel group who from China have visa problem we were only informed in Venice Costa checkin desk that they need a double or multiple entrance Schengen visa so that entering Croatia We could not read anywhere that entering the Costa ship for only a few hours visit t the port Dubrovnik Croatia is releasing a request for multiple entering Schengen visa We start from 2 pm to late 8 pm in the lobby of Costa in Venice trying to negotiate to the Costa staffs to let us on board there they have no computer the internet connection was very bad it was Saturday we were not able to contact mycruise office the Costa staffs was not able to find Mycruise emergency contact Since costa was not able to contact with our travel agency Mycruise they were not able to find any solution We had spoke with Costa staff Mr Luis Serminato and his assistant Mrs Benedetti Mr Marco Dare and more staffs We spend nearly 7 hours with no water no food or anything Costa did not even have internet and terminal to contact My Cruise only mobile phones They did not have table and seats for us the benches were far away from the Costa encounter It is hopeless that THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE COMPUTER and INTERNET ON THEIR ENCOUNTER From our point of view that My Cruise should be able to be contacted by the Costa check in desk anytime so that Costa be able to deal with any sudden situation One of the Costa staff mentioned it could be possible if they could talk to Mycruise to change to another cruise tickets within Schengen visa countries But both Costa staffs and we could not get contact with Mycruise in DAENMARK We were able to contact the mycruise main office in Italy but they could contact Mycruise Denmark neither After almost 7 hours struggle with no result we were tired hungry and thirsty we have to left the Costa check in lobby at 8 pm with all our luggage no help we out of stress tried to get to the main station of Venice we walked the whole way from the Cruise harbor When we walked over the bridge between the bus station and the train station Yang Lijun 81 years old lady She fell and hit her head seriously on the bridges stairs the blood was everywhere a passing by local people called the ambulance when the water ambulance came they only allow her and one person her daughter company with her to hospital we have to separate into two part the daughter has neither Italy nor English finally they allow me to come with she was hospitalized in Venice 3 people of the group spend the whole evening until midnight for Yang s examination and 2 stitchings there are no food even no water in Venice hospital as well Hospital documentation is available And my husband had to go all the way alone back to the hotle where we live before without passport because all the passport was taken care by me Fortunately the hotel Malibran was allow my husband in the waiting room until we came back nearly 11 o clock in the evening we have to stay another two nights in Venice until Monday Mycruise office opening time on Monday we were able to contact with Mycruise Denmark they try to help us with early return tickets to Denmark Deal to Yang Lijun s situation we chose to stay some more days in Italy live in centre of Vanice was very expansive since Yang Lijun s situation was improved after two days we decided to move to Lago Di Garda where my husband has a Danish friend who can help us also better for her to recover Yesterday evening we back to Copenhagen tomorrow we will have to find a place in Copenhagen to remove the surgical stitchings from Mrs Yang The Costa in Venice told us that if we bought the ticket directly from Costa then they would find us another route within Schengen countries not entering Croatia from another port than Venice But since tickets were bough from My Cruise they could not help us they claimed What an experience all deals to no services after we pay for full price of our tickets to Mycruise It was too much for all of us The total costs for the trip payed to MyCruise was DKK 41 396 - Because of the rejection by Costa we had the following time waste and disappointments and a lot of extra costs and troubles Tomorrow we will go to My Cruise Denmark office we hope they can find out a solution Hongling S nnichsen

Dear Sebastian MyCruiseThank you very much for your reply 17th July I only have time to read your comments yesterday and be able to reply you now our guest have just left on Monday 24th we haven t heard any further information on our case yet on your comments you had mention that if you had called us on this number we would have had a chance to help you when you were standing in the port When you are missing correct visa it is difficult to do anything with the authorities because they are restricted to only permit people onboard who have the correct papers Both before and after you booked your cruise holiday we informed you that you need to get the correct visa for this holiday 1 your emergency telephone was not able to find on your information paper where you give even how to get to hotel how much cost from airport to hotel and so on but not emergency telephone number 2 Costa has no contact with my cruise on costa check in desk in Venice port there was no computer and they don t have your emergency number either and they can t contact you on your office Monday 17th you even admitted it was your mistake that you didn t put your emergency to costa 3 even the same day we were not able to contact you Saturday and Sunday your office closed but two days late on Monday on your working day we called your office and talked with you while we still in Venice you was not able to arrange or change our cruise the only propose you give me was offer a earlier airplane tickets back to Denmark even when we in your office you were not able to give us another trip on cruise 4 you said you have inform us about the travel documents but on your office you had said even costa didn t inform you travel cross Croatia need double or multiple entrance Schengen visa and you didn t get clear reply from Croatia embassy too we still waiting for our compensation best regardsHongling S nnichsen

To whom it may concern We have booked a cruise from Dubai to Genova via MyCruise - the information has almost all only been us requesting clarification from them rather than them informing us about the cruise We specifically asked them before our departure If we could check-in onto the vessel in Dubai upon arrival Information that was provided by MyCruise reflected same but we were however unsure about this We emailed them to reconfirm if indeed we can board the vessel upon arrival at midnight and again they confirm via email Yes you can check-in on arrival We arrived at 02 30 in the morning after a 2 1 2 delayed transfer purchase through MrCruise actual driving time is less than 30 min only to discover that check-in was closed and we had a wait in the terminal until 07 30 the following morning So with two small children 4-6 we had to sleep on the terminal chairs in a fuly illuminated terminal Needless to say our experience traveling with MyCruise is shattered - we send them a letter of complaint and still after 3 working days they have taken their time to reply us

Seems to be impossible to communicate
Seems to be impossible to communicate directly with the Company if you want to talk about a Cruise you paid a deposit for and they cancelled the cruise Give you an option to switch but you must do it by email only as they can t take phone calls and they will get back to you in 3-4 weeks after the deadline they give you to reply by

Good offer but lots of mistake during booking process
They offer and first contact was good After accepting the offer the problems started Unfortunately I had to call them multiple times as they keept making mistakes We accept an offer and the price less than 5 min after and sent all relevant information Get the confirmation and not oly did it not include what we accep they removed after accepting they wrote the name wrong all they need to do was copy paste they change the price after accept as they claimed it was the wrong l price we where given as the person sending and accepting the offer forgot to add service charge after multiple call they finally acknowledged they are at fault and charged it to original price With them ALLWAYS double check everything Even the small details that seem irrelevant can become a problem when it comes to eg flights
