DO NOT USE THESE AWFUL COMPANY I have had a nightmare told 3 different dates for carpet to be fitted so moved furniture pulled up all the carpets to get it ready to then be left a week the last date before it got fitted HE FORGOT I mean come on I was also told I would have new grippers etc fitter told me to leave my old ones down when I spoke to lady to find out where he was she said we provide him with new grippers Soooo today carpet finally got fitted he was 40 minutes late to what he said but hey he turned up and I wasn t forgot but carpet is not as thick as you are sold it to be and the fitting is awful I have nails on the top of the carpet holding it in place that you can see and will more than likely catch your feet on it s not been stretched anywhere bear enough it s all baggy and under the lip I have at top of stairs it s been left lose company themselves have been rude and no help at all I asked for money back and for them to collect carpet as it s just not ehat I ve been sold but they are not having any of it Trust me go somewhere else

Do not trust this company made me wait days and all day till last min they couldn t his deposit kept changing when I rung his attitude isn t business like wasted my whole day

So i thought i would give a week to allow the rep to contact myself or my partner but since that hasnt happened i thought I d post the follow-up to the review On having the rep come to the house he measured up was very pleasant and advised on the best carpet We weren t paying weekly and paid outright The reason was that we had a friend who had a carpet fitted and had a great experience It seemed very hassle free quickly and easy We received a text the following morning and confirmed fitting for the 4th of December We received a text the night before and on the day of fitting the fitter called my partner asking if he could come the following day She explained that i had taken the day off work to allow him in and would prefer it to be done that day He said he would be there that afternoon At 4 we still had no communication and then called him he kept telling me he would there in an hour he then eventually told me at 7pm he was in Wishaw we are Kilmarnock and agreed due to the fact we have a child and live in a flat that he would then need to come the next day due to the noise and the fact that just isn t an appropriate time to have a carpet fitted We agreed that the next day he would be there for half past 4 The next day at 3 pm we had no communication from him and texted him have the texts to ask if he was still coming at 4 30 He wrote back after 4 30 My partner then contacted the company directly to explain dissatisfaction and got told they are self employed it wasnt anything they could help with We called the fitter direct and he told me he would be there within the hour after saying it wouldn t be until after 7 he then did come at 5 15 when in text he apologised and said he was turning back on another job When he came he then said the carpet had been cut to short He told us to contact the company on the monday morning as this was now friday and being nearer 6pm the company had closed and that he would leave the carpet down due to not having anything on our flooring My partner contacted the company on monday morning at 9am and finally spoke to someone and explained she wanted a full refund The refund wasn t just because the hassle it was also the fact that the carpet was not a great quality and underlay was far too thin She then got a call back later in the day from the rep who sold us the carpet He couldnt have been nicer said he would have somone the next day with a thicker under lay better quality carpet due to us having the last piece on the roll his words and have the fitter at our house at 4 30pm he also stated he would call in and make sure we were happy and check the carpet was ok We agreed this was fair and allowed another chance They also had all our money for this and being only 2 weeks away from Christmas we knew we would struggle to get something else The following day after several messages of broken promises again the fitter eventually showed at 7 10pm He laid the carpet that was definitely thicker backing and the underlay which was only 1mm thicker but by this point we just wanted a carpet The carpet has several ripples through it that we have had to contact another fitter to come sort He didn t put down the door grippers as stated he didnt have the correct cutting tools We will do this ourselves by this point we just wanted the nightmare over with The rep surprise surprise did not call me back respond to my messages or come check on the carpet We have plenty of texts videos call alerts and also pictures to prove all this My friend who has been waiting all day on laminate flooring to be fitted is in the exact same scenario today and im sure she will put her own review Unfortunately it was too late for her to cancel after my experience It s sad that so many people are being let down maybe its the fitters who are letting this company down i dont know but it s been an awful experience

Absolute rip off company Ripped off a single mum taking a deposit then asking her for another 150 quid then keep changing the dates then asking her pay more payments which luckily she had the sense not to Asked for her money back 190 pound but refused to give it to her Avoid this company at all costs Thanks for your pathetic lying reply Just look at the reviews about your dodgy rip off company absolute jokers ripping off a hard working single mother

Hi I ve had 150 taken out my account today for the carpet when I put a hold on things until my repairs are done on the house and I d be paying for carpet I havnt got yet this money needs put back in my account asap as it s benefiting money hopefully tomorrow they will do this

Paid for a room and they cut corners and didn t go under my kitchen work tops - they used plastic door stops to wedge the flooring to stop it from sliding unbelievable Absolutely rubbish job no help from customer service either The staff are soooo rude hung up on me twice and refused to hand me to a manager or give me details to write to or complain Contacting trading standards Update You wont have this name in your database no because this is not the name used but you have my address and card details in your data and I have my payment agreement on email and proof of purchase receipt with a date on so Stop being so petty I have no need to reply after several phone calls of your staff refusing to let me know complaint email procedures and hanging up the phone THATS why I am going through trading standards DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY PAY SMART CARPETS WAY BETTERIf there was a place to upload pictures I would but I have left some on Google for anyone wanting to see your work fitters work is absolutely diabolical you need to be shut down

My review Honest review from a family home I was very skeptical about this whole process The whole stigma around this process well I m here go put your mind at rest After meeting Steve and him answering my 1001 questions I decided to go ahead and get my 3 bedrooms landing and stairs carpeted We went with the thick carpet that s more for the living room area But we glad we did The house is so much more warmer It feels lovely on the feet and just looks so smart The kids love it I ve had this carpet down for over a month now with a busy family children dogs etc and it s still perfect As you can see from the video and pictures of stairs Pleae mind mess still moving in The two carpet fitters that came where so polite and professional they really did the best job ever No looseness in the fitting the stairs are brilliant I just love it The underlay is very top quality also If you re wanting top quality at affordable prices to may monthly I would highly recommend these honestly I m so happy I went with Steve Just wish I found him before I bought my living room flooring thankyou
