Terribly managed business
Terribly managed business Verging on criminal in fact Ofsted have closed 11 out of their 18 school childcare contracts due to unacceptable standards of service Their remaining contracts have failed to pass inspection receiving highly critical reports regarding their business practices reports ofsted RP524567The app and website for their leisure services is awful Very long waiting time to get through to just one single call center rep who is paid a pittance to spend their day patiently listening to infuriated customers complaints to which they are very understanding and afterwards very efficient and helpful I feel sorry for her The senior management are demonstrably unfit to run a creche or a bath let alone a business The fact they not only manage to stay afloat but are extremely buoyant swimming in cash speaks volumes about the critically unhealthy state of the state

Safeguarding
Swimming coach dragged my neurodivergent granddaughter the length of the pool after she refused to leave shouting at her as if she was an animal in a very public way I have no option to defuse the situation and my granddaughter was Triggered into fight or flight mode The treatment did not comply with safeguarding and I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities

Swimming lessons repeatedly cancelled as pools closed
My son has been attending swimming lessons at the Walnuts in Orpington for a few years We are used to the changing rooms being dirty the toilets smelling and the showers being out of order on a regular basis The pool has hit a new low over the winter with the boiler frequently breaking down and both pools being closed My son has just had his third swimming lesson in a row cancelled due to the pool being closed again I guess the council won t invest in a new boiler while they decide whether to bulldoze the very dilapidated centre and replace it Shame as the swimming instructors are lovely and the Reception staff are helpful

Thieves Thieves ThievesThe leisure centre was closed due to vivid so my membership was frozen An email was sent to say they were reopening and to contact them directly when I wanted to unfreeze it I didn t contact them 1 July 2021 they decided to take it from my account anyway leaving me without enough money I contacted them regarding a refund but was told an email had been sent informing me that my membership was being reinstated I checked all my messages including deleted and junk the message had never been received I tried to fight the decision but the woman I was speaking with Sophie Brokenshire just stopped replying Avoid at all costs

Is it a clown show
I have honestly never known a company like it for covering each other s arses Incompetence personified I am a member of the golf section but I see from reviews on here it is all over the business is that what it is I have tried to speak to head office but apparently they don t know who is in charge and just refer me back to the high elms who will then cover up the issues by keeping it nice a local and quiet whilst continuing not doing what they are paid for

Pathetic customer service
Pathetic customer service My request to cancel the membership was not actioned on time After noticing the direct debit after few months they are asking me to submit the proof that called When explained in detailed over email no one even bothered to even acknowledge the email even after multiple follow ups and finally cancelled the wrong account which was not even requested

Booked to go swimming on mytime active
Booked to go swimming on mytime active app that Iv never used before 1 adult and 2 children and it charged me for 2 adults 2 children because it already added me as I was in my app and I didn t realise until payment went through Very miss leading and I hope to get my money back as I was just booking it for my husband and 2 children and had no intention of ever going as I am going to be working Modern technology at its worse

Very poor greens
Since the courses re-opened after lockdown we have now played Boldmere 1 Hatchford Brook 2 Harborne and Pipe Hayes also twice Each course played 18 holes and paid full price every course had the worst greens I have played on these courses very poor condition with no obvious work being done on them during or even since lockdown so how do you continue to justify charging full prices We have been playing all these courses for years but now looking at alternatives

Really bad customer service
Absolutely awful customer service I finally got through after being on hold for over an hour - was told they couldn t get through to the pool but would send an email and they d contact me Obviously nobody did Found out at next class that Beckenham spa pool throw away lost property after 24 hours apparently because of covid yet none of the reception staff were wearing masks
