Six month wait for first magaxine
Shocking customer service I took out a subscription mid March and payment was taken right away I saw that I might have to wait 12 weeks before receiving a magazine but here we are in July and still waiting After various emails back and forwards to customer services I ve been told I ll get my first copy in September Don t waste your money completely incompetent even fraudulent given they will have had my money for six months by September Very disappointing

horrendous experience with creative media-very rude email response when my daughter s subscription didn t turn up National geographic embarrassed when I contacted them am taking this further so will keep posted very worried it won t turn up at all then trading standards here we come Nat geo need to pull out of arrangement with them asap like Tesco did

Very poor auto renewal system
Very poor auto renewal system They tell you 13 months before it will automatically renew without giving any dates Then they automatically take your payment without notice This is completely contradictory to the legal guidance set out by the government for fair contract renewals I would really encourage NG to change this practice as I believe it to be very unfair This is clearly the view of everyone else on this review site Surely this is impacting on any chance of returning customers

New app is very poor
After spending months like others here unable to access digital editions I ve paid for there s a new app for the iPad anyway which does let me access them Horray No The app is dreadful basically it shows you a screenshot of the paper version There seems no way of removing downloads or even knowing which editions you have downloaded Don t subscribe unless they improve it I wish I hadn t

The worst Customer Service organization
The worst Customer Service organization I ve ever encountered I simply wanted to change my long-time National Geo print digital subscription to digital I couldn t make the change on the website so I called customer service I called twice but both were the same They didn t know how to do it they put me on hold several times for long periods they were bored with my phone call and hard to hear The second agent canceled my subscription and then said I would have to sign up myself for a new digital subscription It s like this magazine is not interested in keeping customers Unbelievable
