What Happened Bland and Watery Soups
What have you done to your soups I ve had a few recently and they are bland and tasteless - they used to be delicious The mushroom soup tasted like watery soil in other words very earthy I like mushrooms but yuk The leek and potato again watery and bland I can only imagine that you are trying to save money Won t be buying any Covent Garden soup again - it s not worth the price

New Covent Garden SOUP - Secret Added Sugar
I messaged the company regarding the amount of added sugar in their soups which is something the fail to show on the label under the ingredients - the failed to respond I am diabetic and though nice healthy soup would be good for me until I found out that New Covent Garden Soups contain more sugar than a can of energy juice I done the math and worked out how much sugar should be in that quantity of soup and it was a fraction of what is shown on their packaging for the amount of sugar therefore they are adding teaspoons of sugar into the soup They have 9 - 18 times more sugar than a normal vegetable soup wow That s 4 teaspoons of added sugar

I used to love the classic roast
I used to love the classic roast chicken but over the last few years they have reduced the size of the container from 700g to 600g and now 560g The price is still the same and has not been reduced in stores so I think it is overpriced for the size They have meddled around with the ingredient s and changed the taste The only way I would describe the flavour and compare it to is taste less wall paper paste and if I wanted to boil up and eat paste I would buy Solvite being frank it would probably taste better

Potato soup not chicken soup
Used to love the chicken soup as an old faithful It never had many chicken pieces in it but I didn t mind because it still tasted like chicken Now it s just potato soup with a couple literally 2 in my case of tiny chicken shreds I don t even mind potato soup but I d buy it if I wanted it I ve been having Cully Sully a lot lately so I ll go back to them but it s a shame because I did enjoy the old NCG recipe

Watery bland
I have had the spiced butternut soup a few times in the past and this time I noticed it s now very watery and doesn t taste like it used to It was such a significant change that I checked the reviews on the soup and have seen everyone saying the same thing Won t be buying again

Deceitful shrinkflation merchants
Serving size has dropped 40g whilst packaging is still the same size Deceitful and cheeky Also some recipes seem to have changed - Vegetable has an unpleasant taste Tomato Basil is not as rich as it used to be Carrot Coriander is still in the fridge but I don t have high hopes Will not but again until they stop these deceptive practices
