Wonderful Clinic

I ve been a patient of Newson Health since the day it opened It s such a wonderful place filled with knowledge great advice and wonderful staff Louise Newson started me on my HRT journey when she was my GP she was the only Dr to listen to me I d be foolish to not to have my annual reviews at the clinic in Stratford She s a life saver

Dr Clair Crocket at Newson Health has a lovely bedside manner She put my mind at rest at questions I had was warm and welcoming and I received very prompt feedback letter on my appointment and results of blood tests taken

Wish I d discovered it earlier - game changer

Only good things to say about this clinic I ve been with them 2 5 years and always had brilliant care a consultant who listens and great admin team who respond quickly It s not cheap but worth every penny I even get prescriptions from them now due to so much hassle and errors with my doctor It s a game changer I wish I d discovered it pre menopause

The best clinic

Had to leave a review as the service professionalism and knowledge at The Newson Clinic is outstanding I had a 45 minute virtual appointment with one of their wonderful Drs She listened understood and advised something my own gp hasn t done I ve since phones with a couple of queries and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable I will be recommending them to all my girlfriends

I feel heard

I had been feeling utterly lost and beside myself with many highly distressing symptoms which have impacted my body and my life I hadn t felt heard about my perimenopause by my own GP It had taken months of stress and debilitating symptoms I had been given many other medications that I didn t need and testing for various other things - which did not help or show anything It took them far too long to hear me when I used the word perimenopause Only recently my GP finally agreed that this does sound like peri menopause but by this time my trust in my own GP practise felt broken for me so I sought help privately I had a consultation with a knowledgeable GP at Newson Health I cannot tell you of the amount of relief I felt coming out of that appointment It was efficient helpful and I felt heard Thank you

Having been refused treatment by my GP I approached Newson health to seek guidance and support The service is superb professional and informative The GP appointment was so reassuring and the doctor answered all my questions and provided clear guidance that informed my decision making and anxiety Having had a follow up appointment the doctor was attentive asked for feedback on how I was feeling and provided options for treatment going forward I cannot fault the professional service provided

Tranformational

The pioneering work done at The Newson Clinic has transformed the lives of so many women including my wife s She has had a serious mental health issue which had undoubtedly been exacerbated by a hormone imbalance Dr Newson went well over and above in order to help my wife I could not be more grateful

Changed my life

The most helpful supportive understanding and knowledgeable staff I have ever discussed my peri menopause symptoms with They listened and then asked the appropriate questions instead of fobbing me off saying it was just a phase The HRT I had prescribed and am taking restarted my life from feeling old unwell and anxious all the time I now feel like I can work again and my family has seen an amazing change for the better Thank you for being there for me when nobody else was

Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service I ve turned to Newson health when I was in desperate need of help trying to cope with how I was feeling I saw the founder of the practice on TV and thought I would get good service for the money I would pay I was seen by a lovely doctor she was really caring and responded to my emails when I had questions without any issues Of course I would have questions because I was taking new medication that was really scary she was great at making me feel calm and safe She sadly went on maternity leave and things were never the same Nearly a year on and I am still struggling REALLY struggling I had a very simple question in Aug because I forgot to take my Utrogestan tablets I was terrified because I did not know if I should double the next dosage or not This lead to me being so worried I would get cancer I sent an email to just ask that simple question what I need to do I received a response that I need to pay 50 to have a 10min call with a nurse or 165 Or 230 just to get this help I was so shocked at this point I had already spent a few 230 sessions and still not feeling great I ve left it and carried on in fear It is quite expensive and I ve hope I would feel better by now I have a little daughter I so badly want to feel better for her it s important With all this additional stress I now just struggling through trying to accept I may have to feel this awful now for years to come To constantly pay that amount of money and not feel confident going away after the consultation is not good Not being able to reach out to my GP for help is not good either I feel totally helpless I miss Dr Ruth so much she cared and genuinely tried to help If I got the same service and value and care I would pay the money It is not the same anymore I m totally forgotten about and it just feels like it s all about paying as much money for nothing at the moment I am told someone will get back to me and a couple of times they never do I have to follow up but in the meantime I m feeling pretty awful I had such high hopes that I would finally get the help I need and a year on I m still struggling
