Please stay away from Nitecore chargers I bought the Q6 first and it did not work I returned to TASCO distributors in Australia at my own cost and they replaced it with I8 After receiving the replacement it had an error when I insert 3 or more batteries LEDs start flickering and it does not charge When I raised an issue with TASCO they kept arguing that I use different batteries PLEASE PLEASE Stay away from NITE CORE and TASCO Australia

Made in China no better than 8 ebay flashlights

I have purchased three Nitecore flashlights at a price of about 45 each Recently one of them stopped working By swapping parts I was able to figure out the switch was bad an easily replaceable part I contacted Nitecore and was told that 1 My flashlight is out of warranty and there is nothing they can do 2 To send it to the store in CHINA to have them evaluate it and 3 They no longer carry and can t sell me the defective part So option 2 above makes absolutely no sense Another problem with Nitecore is that their 18650 batteries are actually larger than a standard 18650 battery and WILL NOT FIT a standard 18650 battery charger You have to buy a Nitecore charger I have another three made-in-China 1000 lumen flashlights purchased on eBay for a price of 8 each I have had these as long or longer than the Nitecore ones and all of them work as good as new So Nitecore is going to the trash heap it is not worth the extra money for anything more than a kids toy

First light that broke was under

First light that broke was under warranty for bad threading They didn t make that model any more so just gave me credit of paying half the price toward a new light So warranty is not really a warranty at all That next one then just dies before even getting through a full charge Then they make me pay shipping for a part to fix it They also drag the whole process out each time for weeks I pay then they wait a week or so to even sent anything Do not buy from this company Unless you live in China and wouldn t have to deal with their garbage customer service they have just buy ANYTHING else There are too many companies making good flashlights out there to have to deal with this company

Buyer Beware

If the other reviews here don t already appropriately caution you enough to not conduct business with nitecorestore com then please consider this yet another example to help steer you away They sell a number of flashlights that use proprietary batteries My 2-3 year old R40 a 149 purchase back then needed a new battery The battery shows as discontinued on their website so I reached out to customer service In addition to taking a while to get responses the service team offered no help other than stating I should check with other vendors or call the manufacturer Well these products are labeled as Nitecore products so it s clear to me that they simply add their brand to another manufacturer s product aren t willing to support the products they sell and finally they don t really seem to care at all about taking care of their customers Buyer beware Shop elsewhere

Don t buy a Nitecore

I m currently in the middle of trying to get the glass replaced on my Concept 2 flashlight I m more than happy to pay for the replacement gaskets and front glass after it turned on and shattered from the heat in my bag I ve emailed no less than three different email addresses over the last month and each reply takes a week and I only get a reply because I have to remind them to reply 185 for a flashlight I ll never buy from Nitecore again Your customer support is embarrassing Don t buy Nitecore UPDATE Two months later I m still waiting for the correct parts for my flashlight I asked for TWO things glass and gaskets they forgot the gaskets I ve been quoted as having to wait another 8 weeks for delivery Don t buy Nitecore

I purchased a TIP SE Flashlight

I purchased a TIP SE Flashlight from Nitecore directly which stopped working around half way through the warranty period I literally only turned it on a few times I contacted Nitecore and they told me I am responsible to pay for the shipping from Connecticut to Texas to have the Flashlight fixed It was going to cost me 13 00 to ship it to them for a Flashlight that costs around 29 I went back to them and told them I should not have to pay another 13 to have it fixed while it s still under warranty and asked them to either send me a free shipping label or replace the unit They responded back that I am responsible for the shipment back to them and it usually costs around 5 to ship items back to them Well not from CT to Texas And I used a very small 6 25 x 3 25 box I will never purchase another item from this company again

Don t ever buy Nitecore

Unbelievable I couldn t believe in the 21st Century you could still find that bad customer experience Bought the NITECORE MH12GTS for 90 95 which is by all accounts one of the most expensive flashlight in the market today After twice it was in use the battery started to heat up to a level that it was boiling and could not be held I couldn t get anyone on a call so I emailed the US Service department of Nitecore After a week with two remainders they answered that I should contact the manufacturer directly So I did that and after 2-3 days they responded and said I should contact the US service department At this point I start to lose my patience so I replay both of them and copied every email I ve found that is relevant to Nitecore and asked them to talk between them to get this situation done A week later they asked me to ship it to the US service location why not just send me a new one Anyway I shipped it and after 2 weeks with no response I emailed and asked to get an update Day later I got an email saying they need to send it to repair and it will take 12 weeks 3 months AFTER I ve already dealt with that for 2 months Really for almost a 100 flashlight that was in use twice I need to wait half a year to get my almost new flashlight repaired instead of a sorry email and a new device I answered them - Thank you No need for anything from you You can keep it for yourselves I don t need anything from Nitecore anymore Unbelievable

Battery pack is garbage

Battery pack is garbage Worked for a few charges and then I took it off grid excited to save a few ounces and it declined to work resulting in my carrying around extra weight for no reason Two thumbs way down

Low quality items at a premium price

Low quality items at a premium price That s bad enough but the terrible UK customer service that follows with this is what s so abysmal about Nitecore Antony Cole was the person I had the displeasure of dealing with in this instance Instead of making any vague attempt to retain your custom by making an exchange on an item that doesn t perform as it should I was given excuses to why they didn t need to address the problem and he seemed to believe talking down to you is a good enough explanation as to why their products don t perform The UK website is also trash Total waste of time and requires disabling pop-up blockers just to get a simple order through It s really not worth the headache since the products and deprecating attempts at customer service fall so short Waste of time Waste of money Rude staff Give this company a miss
