Money blocked and they have not returned it to me
Bad customer service Doesn t respond or gives you standard answers I sent money from my US bank account to Nomo Bank they deposited the money after more questions and after 2 days they blocked my account Why the hell deposit the money then It was better to refuse entry Now I have been waiting for 30 days for my money back 30 days later they tell me that they are reviewing my case I do not recommend using this platform From my point of view I feel cheated

I m extremely frustrated with the service provided by Nomo bank They closed my account and requested my details for a refund to another bank but it s been more than 10 days and I haven t received any updates or the refund I ve been calling customer service for the past 10 days but I haven t received a single positive response neither over the phone nor via email This is the worst bank and service I ve ever experienced

Disappointing Privacy Issues and Delays at Nomo Bank
I ve been with Nomo Bank for a while and never had problems until recently Every transaction now gets blocked for excessive scrutiny It s one thing to ask about the relationship and purpose behind a transfer but demanding the sender s date of birth someone who isn t even a Nomo client is just ridiculous I told them the sender wasn t comfortable sharing that with a third party and found it overly intrusive Their response They froze my transaction for a week Despite my attempts to sort things out they wouldn t process the transfer without that information They haven t returned the funds to the sender s bank either After I kept pushing they finally decided to send it back Now I m waiting to see what happens but honestly it s been incredibly frustrating I thought this bank was on the right track but their tactic of trying to gather non-client s private info for their database and possibly for future marketing is disappointing

Nomo Bank s compliance officers are frauds
My lawyers and the lawyers of my uncle are nowfiling a lawsuit against Nomo Bank s fraudulent actions Nomo Bank s compliance team have been making up various reasons to hold their customer s money My uncle sent me money just under 3 000 on the 8th of August as a part of the family support It s been more than 2 weeks since the money reached Nomo Bank but not my account Bank of America and Barclays GB received confirmations via SWIFT-messaging that my money is withheld by Nomo Bank In the lawsuit I am claiming 20 000 pounds of compensation and I will do my best to cancel NB s banking license I spend my own money far more than this withheld 2 800 to save other people s money from scamming activities by these frauds in Nomo Bank

Money not paid to account holder whilst account was frozen and then closed AVOID
I have send money to a Nomo bank account holder and his account was frozen yet the bank didn t return the money After having countless discussions with my bank - it turns out that the bank shouldn t have accepted the transfer 2300 when the account holder has his account frozen closed It s been 6 months since I m chasing this I shamed them on x - they tell me msg support I m not the account holder so I do not get info The account holder mailed on a weekly basis no response They call themselves sharia complied - yet steal their customers money by closing their accounts this bank is a shame I ll report this to the police because this behaviour is not acceptable Avoid at all costs

They refuse to work on my account limitation for over 4 weeks now telling me there is a team that has to look into it Always replying a basic pre defined answer Very strange customer service especially when so much funds are frozen

Secret terms and conditions
This bank has a lot of incomprehensible things lack of transparency and rudeness They claim that accounts are offered to residents of select GCC countries I reside in one of them I downloaded their app and submitted every single document they asked for Shockingly they denied opening the account for unknown reasons I contacted them many times honestly they have poor customer service rudely said we don t have to provide any reasons and the UK laws doesn t force us to do so Firstly you don t have to hide behind outdated laws to justify what seems to be unethical and unacceptable behavior Secondly its very clear they re targeting specific type of clients They claim they re offering accounts for residents of UAE KUWAIT KSA but looks like they exclude some nationals and expats living in the perspective countries Anyway this bank doesn t worth your time and you can get way better service anywhere else

Disappointing experience
was excited to open an account with this bank but my experience has been disappointing I tried twice and the passport verification process is neither user-friendly nor efficient Given the advanced technologies available today there should be a better more seamless way to verify identity The process felt unnecessarily cumbersome with lengthy instructions to read before taking a selfie yet the selfie feature didn t even work properly To make matters worse I received an email claiming to include instructions for taking the selfie but no such instructions were attached Overall the experience was frustrating and far from the level of convenience I expected I hope the bank can address these issues and streamline the onboarding process for future customers
