I will be moving to Sweden and was thinking of opening an account with a Swedish bank Nordea was the first bank I considered and has failed beyond imagination to schedule a simple online meeting to discuss the procedural part with one of its experts There is a complete lack of customer service which makes me wonder how the bank can still be in business in 2023

I have a account with them and I am a Swedish citizen living in UK will be retired soon from Sweden and would like to move back to Sweden and buy a small property Trying for the past 2 years having internet banking Bank ID but they refused me told me I need to go into a branch so travelled 3 times to Sweden and each time they said it was ok for me to have a online banking now today got a nasty call from a number 46101572356 saying I have no right to internet banking but I know lots of swedes who are retired and live overseas have internet banking either no one knows what they are talking about or I am being discriminated for having a foreign name The rude person advice me to close my account which i am not going to do but planning to sue Nordea Bank

Nordea a merciless bank to its customers
Nordea constantly breaks its commitments with its customers I had a membership loan and Nordea suddenly decides to decommission its membership loan plan and left me with paying with twice as much as interest rate I used to pay in that plan DO NOT open account in this bank they even charge you on their mobile app they offer to their customers I am looking for another bank to transfer The term Membership Loan or Medlemsl n does not exist in the Nordea system anymore I signed a contract specifically based on the conditions of that Membership Loan However Nordea unilaterally revoked its commitments after a few months despite the contract which sends a distrustful signal to its customers

Honestly the powers given to banks on Bank Id especially Nordea bank is absurd understandably that you don t want a customer to use your services but it s totally unacceptable for your bank to block the ex-customers from using the bank ID service from other banks it s oppressive unethical monopolized and prejudice it s like saying we don t need you but we can destroy you the so called in the box thinking by your bank has given birth to so many people s frustration and depression Bank I d are used for other services outside your bank so you know

I was in Nordea Alvik and the customer service agent was so rude to some old couples The people are a little older but also had a problem with understanding Swedish but she was just screaming at them The one I met also was so rude and standoffish I have never met this kind of customer service in my life like seriously

Nordea is the worst bank i have felt with by far Every person i have dealt with seems to make up their own rules Im in Cape Town and lost my Nordea card when my wallet was stolen more than six months ago It took me numerous phone calls and three months to get a new card Now it has taken me another three months to get my new pin AND I STILL DONT HAVE IT Nordea stated that the sent my pin to my address in Sweden twice But the pin never arrived Yesterday i called Nordea again and the woman i spoke to said that they would send the pin to my address in Cape Town I told her that it had to be couriered because with normal post it would take two months or never arrive The lady took my Cape Town address and said that the people at Nordea who handle the post would contact me They never did So i called Nordea today and told the consultant that i wanted my pin to be sent to my Swedish address She said that she could not change the address and spoke over me and pretended that she could not hear me I called Nordea again and told the next consultant that i wanted my pin sent to my Swedish address and it could only be sent to Cape Town if sent by courier The woman said that they could not send by courier I said then it must be sent to my Swedish address She said they could not as they had changed my address to Cape Town I asked why as i had always used my swedish address and i did not give them authority to change my address I told the woman that if they changed my address yesterday then they could correct it today She said i should contact the tax authority to change my address I said that they changed it and since i don t work for Nordea why should i do their work and fix their mistake Please explain how they can change my address yesterday but cant change it back today Especially since they unlawfully changed my address NORDEA ARE THE WORST AND MOST WASTE OF TIME BANK ON THE PLANET IM WANT MY PIN SENT TO MY SWEDISH ADDRESS I WILL THEN WITHDRAW MY 250 000K AND CLOSE MY ACCOUNTS CRAIG FERREIRA

Just incompetente
Just a pile of incompetente lazy ineffective people that works at the right place in a bank that s worse than their employers Banks forget one thing they don t exist without the people s money AND they don t have any money because it s all made up If people realised that and withdrew all their money all banks would collapse Until then we still have to fight those morons for the most simple things
