I purchased a NordicTrack for 1700 and

I purchased a NordicTrack for 1700 and loved it at first but after 17 months I began experiencing significant problems and the repair costs would exceed 1000 I contacted their maintenance team but when I called NordicTrack I was informed that I had missed the registration and was out of warranty The lack of empathy and poor customer service is astounding Now I have a treadmill that serves merely as an ornament I want to warn other customers be cautious as this company seems to prioritize profit over quality and customer care How can a product that costs so much have such serious issues Avoid Nordic track at all at all costs

I bought nordictrack x24 bike that developed fault after a few days I got sent a replacement and that went faulty incline intermiitting not following trainer was told fitness superstore that engineer will be in touch next week but they never did I have been having issues for past 3 months now and support had been really bad by nordictrack none existent in uk but OK in usa I have taken advice and have sent them a email of Letter before court claim inwhich they refuse to aknolodge My latest email I received from fitness superstore was nordictrack process was to get bike assessment first to see if repair or refund but I reported bike fault within 30 days of receiving it so under the Consumer act iam entitled for another replacement but yet again they don t want to go down that route so as you can see very poor from both companies

My NordicTrack Adventure please come to the Netherlands

I needed a treadmill but knew I would get bored with a regular one After reading up I thought NordicTrack would suit me best I needed it badly to recover from serious health problems I was motivated I couldn t purchase a NordicTrack treadmill in The Netherlands I called NordicTrack France who would discuss and call back I received a phone call they would arrange this for me I was overjoyed I had to pay 170 euro extra for delivery which was steep but at least I would get the treadmill The waitThe model I wanted was not available yet I waited a few months I was motivated started walking in my living room upping pace and even lightly jogging I counted the weeks the months DeliveryThe delivery was interesting The treadmill arrived but the delivery man said it was not doable there were steps These though are never a problem not even for massive deliveries The steps are surrounded by a walking area which is used for big deliveries But he drove back with the treadmill The story became messy I kept hearing it could not be done that it could be that it would be delivered on the street near the truck fine I had agreed to that in the first place then that it was not allowed to deliver outside and it had to be delivered inside I was told I had to pay 650 euro extra for delivery at home even though I was fine with near the truck I refused Each solution was bombed with a new problem I really lost my motivation I suggested I would hire someone to do this then had to pay over 500 euro extra which I refused as well I was told the treadmill was going back to France that it was absolutely not that I had to pay for storage then again I had not I was placed in between three parties that handled delivery sigh After waiting 5 wks I got the green light the treadmill could be delivered in the street I hired two guys to roll it inside To my surprise they used the same trolley the initial driver had said would not work But it did perfectly they went alongside the steps as big deliveries are always taken not a problem at all They just put in on that trolley and wheeled it in it was done in a few minutes Using the treadmillOh I so love the treadmill Of course this is not helpful at all so here s a little more insight Walking and running slow paced jog so far but getting there people is going fine If you never used a treadmill before prepare yourself for holding the side bars for a few days and for feeling like you re still moving even though the treadmill really stopped The platform seems really stable which is great ScreenThe resolution is low for such a big screen but while you run that s okay A smaller screen at the same resolution will seem sharper A higher resolution slows down buffering although this depends on your WIFI quality What I don t like is that there is no switch to turn off the screen If you are going to use the treadmill a bit later you can t flip it off and leave the treadmill on It will say Screen will be dimmed but the dimmed screen is still very bright This is not very sustainable and I fear pixel burning A manual switch for the screen would be great InclineFun The treadmill really adjusts well You ll hear a little beep before changes so you can prepare Setting special speeds and inclinesThere are two ways to do this 1 Without Auto-AdjustThis means you adjust the speed which will then be fixed An arrow button will appear on screen if you press it it will say Follow Trainer so you can drop back to the original speed 2 With Auto-AdjustThis means you adjust the speed and the increase or decrease is added substracted from the original speed Example if the walk is too slow at 4km h and you up it to 5 the difference will be added to higher speeds that can be part of the workout as well An original higher pace of 7Km h will become higher Something to be aware of The same applies to the incline You can always turn this back off to drop back to the original speed The workoutsThose are great I like them They can be motivating and I like that you can really watch and listen while you work out Some will stop the treadmill and explain a few exercises to stretch after which the treadmill continues It s fun Interesting stories fun stories all part of the plan In short I really like this treadmill It helps me recover The workouts are fun and help It would be great if the NordicTrack treadmills were all easily available in The Netherlands because the ordeal I went through was sad But it s at home now and I love it It s a real investment so may the treadmill last for a very long time
