A transport monopoly where nothing goes well
A monopoly they have the worst service ever and nobody can do anything about it Even with costly tickets the trains are always late they ride slowly and the trains tracks are super sensitive to weather conditions Every day there is something The app is bad the trains are canceled for no reason at least not communicated and no options are provided Anything that happens creates chaos and usually no employees can provide useful and assertive information The OV-card sometimes does not work and at the end of the month you get the news you forgot to check out even when there are stations where it s impossible to leave without checking out They make it difficult for you to get refunds or to complain

Soul sucking capitalistic milk machine Treat their personnel horrible don t give in to their work demands because they re horny for money So personnel strikes for a few hours with another train company Honestly good for them But ofcourse NS never has their stuff in order so even after the strike more trains are being cancelled without notice Now hordes of people have to fit in a train and you can t get in even though you already waited for almost an hour Manifesting their financial downfall at this point

Greedy sadists pranking you smile and pay I have no other words to say about what actually NS represents When 10 trains got cancelled delayed when no substite transport arranged when its a rush hour and the amount of people skyrocketing on the platforms f uck yeah lets put even shorter trains and do the ticket check immediately once you board the next train But dont worry Some things will be there with no delay Any bullshit fine when you re in the 1st class to have an opportunity for oxygen thanks to what has been just mentioned or the direct debit to charge you tor all your lost nerves and precious time will work like a Swiss clock Every time it s absolute misery to travel with NS Great job

Total disaster expensive trains always in problems delayed cancelled or super busy because they have the amazing idea to bring a one wagon train at peak hour Terrible customer service terrible people working with ns Been living in the Netherlands for 8 years and it has just been getting worse and worse and charging everyone more Again delayed for more than two hours from Arnhem to Breda Fix your service or sell the company to people that are more competent

Incredible disappointment in the
Incredible disappointment in the week-end specially they do not seem to care about you I had to arrive to a location they showed in NS app an hour kept waiting and that train never came at that hour nor later I tried later at another hour again it happend showing on Ns app someting and i ended up sitting and waiting I think NS could make changes especially on the week-end because week-ends are nightmare to travel by train specially from my area

Do already something about your shitry service
If I could give this transport company -10 stars I would Trains are always ALWAYS late delayed and you just cannot rely on their service Miss the connection and have to wait another half an hour being late to you destination or just spending x2 amount of time to travel somewhere Yet every ride costs like a freaking golden ticket of Willie wonka Big middle finder to this company

NS refuses all refunds on e-tickets
Due to a large number of technical errors on the part of NS I was unable to use my 60 ticket Their support was entirely unavailable and never picked up the phone Eventually after several hours I could speak to a rep on Facebook who still could not fix the primary issue and who also could not give me a refund for my ticket Instead I was given a coupon What a bunch of scammers

Must be the worst service in the EU
If you have no other choice I can only wish you good luck To be safe for connecting services allow at least 2 hours as this service is awful Our train stopped 2 stations before Rotterdam No alternative was offered a part from calling customer service where there was no answer 150euro taxi ride later we finally got to our destination as missing our Eurostar train was not an option I would give 0 stars if this option existed Next time I will drive as it will be a lot less stressful and expensive
