This site goes to extreme lengths with its censorship Most of the time your comments get deleted also even if they are perfectly civil It is just that as long as you don t go in the direction they are trying steer people towards you get censored The journalism itself on the site is also of rather low quality articles often are in conflict with earlier parapgraphs in the same article It is as if the writer is just copy pasting paragraphs from elsewhere without reading them to form a coherent article I usually dont write reviews or anything but NU nl is offending on so much fronts that I actually felt compelled this time

We reserved a car for rental at the Merida Mexico airport NU was not the actual rental company but rather a company called American Car Rental We had been given no information to that effect Once we arrived we tried calling the number on the confirmation sheet only to reach a musical recording then a disconnected line We finally determined from inside the terminal that we had to look for a person holding a sign for American Car Rental Once their car finally picked us up and took us to their off-site rental office we were informed that we would have to pay for insurance that quadrupled the quoted price of the car And if we declined we had to put down an 8 500 not a typo deposit on the car Never have we had an experience like this It was a classic bait and switch Please don t be lured by the low initial price We asked to be taken back to the airport where we rented a car with Hertz
