Very poor customer service from O2
Very poor customer service from O2In February I decided to do an early upgrade from my Samsung tablet to a 9 7 inch IPad Pro and Apple Smart Keyboard The IPad Pro arrived OK but when the keyboard arrived the wrong size had been sent - 12 9inch instead of 9 7 inch I requested to make a return of the incorrect item which I posted at the post office and got proof of posting I wanted to re-order the item but it was out of stock so I purchased it from an alternative provider instead It then came back in stock with O2 and was dispatched to me I contacted O2 to check what action I should take and was advised to refuse delivery of the item - which I did Since this time I have spent considerable time on numerous phone calls and also a webchat trying to get a refund for the 2 keyboards On one call last week I was advised to cancel my direct debit for my air time and just pay the device and e-mail with proof of posting tracking details and proof it had reached the returns department in Guildford House on 2nd March But still I had no resolution or response On another call I was advised to e-mail another contact with proof of posting and all the information described above - again I did this but still no resolution or response to date I have been cut off and had to make another call to get my account reinstated I have been promised numerous call backs which never happen and the South African call centre is particularly unhelpful I have had to explain myself over and over again - even though all this is recorded on the notes of my account All I have managed to find out is that the one I refused delivery for has been returned to you but I still have not had a refund I am extremely satisfied with the service I am receiving from O2 especially as I moved to O2 from Vodafone to get better customer service I have requested an urgent review from O2 and i m being threatened to be cut off again But I m not hopeful for a prompt response

They are the biggest and most disgraceful thieves we were - and still are - stupid enough to use Their shops - thieving points - should be closed My investigation has proved that only 7 - YES 7 - pay their council tax properly I wonder how many of them actually pay their insurance I m sure their managers couldn t care less After all they re making a fortune from us all Scum

I placed an order for an iPad 12 9 pro on the second of November and was informed it was in stock and would be sent out on monday the 5th of november Well monday came and went on Tuesday not before they had taken upfront payment from my account i received a text that it was not in stock and they will rectify the delivery ASAP 1 WEEK later I contacted o2 again to find out what was going on Only to be told again it was in stock and would be sent out the next day The next day came still no iPad but I received another text to say it was out of stock so I went on o2 s website and it said home delivery in more than 4 weeks so I waited another few days and checked website again it had dropped down to more than 2 weeks for home delivery great I thought it should arrive soon after all I have waited over 2 weeks already only to be greeted by the words it s going to be more than 5 weeks for home delivery So tonight driving home there was a call on my mobile from a 0800 number but as i was driving i couldn t answer the phone so i pulled over and played the voicemail that was left and to my surprise it was o2 to talk about my order so immediately i dialled the number back only to be told they tried to contact me and would be back in touch I can only say ive been with o2 for over 15 years and this level of service is disgusting lying to customers to get money of them for a product that they knew all to well was not in stock I m furious o2 you should be ashamed of yourselves and I m sure a few words to higher authorities might get you to pull your finger out

They were good years ago
I used to be a big fan of this company They are an obstructive and slow company now Years ago they were the best or at least in the top two I ordered an Ipad with them I was already an account holder they failed to send the key documents so when i had a problem with the Ipad they obstructed the progress of the repairs with my insurers I have two accounts with them I asked for these two be linked They did not link the accounts despite several requests I have so many issues if I m trying to discuss one account as they have no record of it Yet I pay monthly They send Sim cards which are not activated without telling you As for their customer service you always get incomplete or inaccurate information from them If there is an issue with your handset and you try and call them with a landline you will spend a ridiculous amount of time queuing They re not that competitive on price either many of my friends and family are leaving them and I will soon follow suit

Direct Debit
Hello hopefully for the last time Approximately 7 months ago I contacted O2 requesting direct debit details sort code and account number easily done I can update something like that in 5 minutes at my own workplace I also request payments to come out at the beginning of each month Just to keep my expenses in line and in order The last 6 months O2 have refused to give me a reply and have given me false promises saying it was finally sorted which it wasn t The direct debit for my device plan was immediately cancelled and now I have to make manual payments through the app Today was the last straw I ve contracted O2 numerous times to be promised nothing but lies I ve made a payment toward my device plan but that is it From today onwards I will refuse to make further payment for this device what an absolutely jobsworth Requesting to speak to a manager was always declined and I m completely sick of it I ve been with O2 my whole life I m absolutely horrified and I ve given nothing but praise in the past no longer Once your collection team decide to contact me you will be refused payment until you can sort out what I can only describe as an absolute F up Goodbye

I m not one for writing a bad review
I m not one for writing a bad review but I have to I m in financial difficulty struggling to pay my bill My letter said to call and they were able to help me it s not too late to pay we can help I called Nothing Nothing they could do to help me I m so upset extremely stressed My phone has been cut off will be until I can pay the full amount in 3 months They wouldn t even allow me to put a payment plan in place

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company I was unaware that this review website was available hence why I am only just expressing my displeasure I have been with o2 ever since I was old enough to have the contract in my name I always upgrade with them and have never had this amount of difficulties with another company After also working for O2 I was already aware of the dishonest unethical and bad customer service that goes on within this business I have had numerous issues with this company but the last time which was the last straw absolutely shocked me So in November 2018 I got a call asking me if I wanted to early upgrade which would cost 250 so I agreed then the monthly cost of the XS max with 50gb and insurance 83 per month So I agreed as the upfront payment of 29 was wavered I remained loyal to a company who had no obligation for me when I could have gone to e g Vodafone where I would have got a better plan with better benefits at a cheaper price So back to upgrading with o2 I agreed to also purchase air pods now after a month I lost my phone and air pods so I called up and they dealt with this and after a few days I was provided with a replacement handset but they said I had to contact the insurance team and get proof of purchase for my air pods which I bought from them I was confused why I had to mediate with the department which was within the company so anyways called at least 7 8 times where I was told I d get a confirmation for proof of purchase which I didn t get then calling again I finally got it and sent it to the insurance team where they said this was improper again an individual in the care team had lied to me so I had to call a few more times where the right document was sent So now from the beginning of December I am now in mid-January with no air pods still waiting I call up where they tell me they have none in stock they will provide me a refund which could take up to another 3-5 working days So again I waited I finally received my refund later than what I was told All in all I was tremendously unhappy and dissatisfied and I think that this company is atrocious and something should be done
