get your priorities straight
as usually one more bank in Germany who do not offer an application or online banking in any other language except german which is in 2024 just a shame because it is so easy to code it what a Any way as a Degussa bank client I have been forced to switch to OLB I have received their card and thought Ill get the pin for this card some time in the future I have been away for whole August and first week of September and today I got back home and guess what no pin How should I use my card how should I withdraw cash And they do not have service during the weekend after this kind of acquisition in last week of school holidays when most of the people are coming back from vacation so I guess for us this weekend no food no school stuff for my kid and fridge is empty bcs we just got back what a slap in my face

Complete disaster Online banking far cry from the expectations towards a 21st century bank Old school App buggy slow and glitching constantly Degussa was not fancy but stable Already moving out from OLB and closing my account

The worst bank service I have ever had
The worst bank service I have ever had ---No online transfer is possible on the APP Only website is possible but the service people had no clue what she was telling only knows to send the customer to the so-called Technical team Promised for call-back But I have never received any call back ---No real time transfer possbile without clear reason ----A mess in the new issuance of the credit cards among joint accoutns and individual accounts I was forced to receive a new credit card even I didn t apply for it ---And then of course No clear informaiton about the cancellation of the credit card ---The hotline service is completely helpless and wasted a lot of time by asking useless questions ---The customer service people don t their own website their operation just waste the customer s time to postpone the real solutions

THE WORST BANK
What went wrong Everything It starts with the user interface design of the login on a cell phone it is so small that it is hard to see the characters numbers -- and very easy to make mistakes But unfortunately there is no way of checking for mistakes no eye icon Now then I would like to transfer a substantial amount from OLB to another German bank I did everything required absurdly complex process But at the end your system just said that an error had occurred No reason was given I tried four times and four times received the same response This is MY money in YOUR bank and I cannot get it out I then attempted to call your customer service number Answer The number you have called cannot be reached This is a subject for BaFin at 08002100500 As I have several accounts at OLB it will take time to liquidate all of them -- especially since you make it so difficult to do so But in time I will remove everything Your bank has no business being in business

I never thought I would have such a bad experience with a bank I can and must advise anyone not to open an account here I haven t had access to my account which I opened through my employer for weeks It is absolutely frustrating

From BEST to WORST
Since OLB closed the local branch former Degussa Bank without any prior notice I need to travel 2 hours in case I d like to talk face to face to a competent person The former extremely competent staff has been dismissed or forced to do unskilled labour thus can t do qualified business with me anymore Calling the local OLB number one is forwarded to a hotline German language only has to waste time 15-45min while listening to music and or advertising before incompetent persons at the hotline explain that they can t help or simply hang up - Thus having been a loyal Degussa Bank customer for decades the only goal is now to leave OLB a s a p I am begging that they can manage at least this There is a lot of frustration and anger that only started since OLB has absorbed Degussa Bank in 2024 In case my former contact persons at Degussa Bank read this I d like to thank you for the excellent work you have done and your trustworthiness Wish you to find a bank that value your skills and personality P S Having seen some 5-star ratings I suppose they are fake and obviously using the same template The respone of OLB must be a joke The complains are clearly layed down Just do your job or disappeare from the market

What s wrong this time sums it up
What s wrong this time sums it up quite well Most employees have no idea what they are talking about and everyone tells you something different If you arelucky enough to get through to a competent employee it takes weeks to get the simplest thing done and everything is done in a super outdated way which even the own technical support agrees on Would not trust them with even a penny of my money and would not recommend anyone to do it either

OLB you are a disgrace for the banking sector worse possbile experience ever After going to the bank with an appointment your clerk dared to tell me she has quote - no capacity - to help me for example with internet banking access request So I decided to keep my money elsewhere A friend of mine is going through the same disaster these days He is waiting to get internet access in order to be able to sell his portfolio and terminate all accounts as well Your customers seem running away customers are weird creatures they need customer service which is something you don t seem to have You bought yourself Degussa customers Bad idea They were used to a good customer service Younshould only buy customers who have had worse customer service before if that exists at all They will maybe stick with you You have no idea how many good banks are out there It s called competition in capitalism

customer service- please outsource it to the country which people are nice and friendly
if I could give less then one star I would I know I needed to lower my expectations from German banks because they did not step into new digitalisation era Something like multi language applications or internet banking is not their priority which is quite strange considering there is lot of foreigners living in Germany branches are not connected so if you have to move to another city you have to close your bank account and open a new one in the city you moved in All of this can be tolerated but service and customer support from OLB bank is next level of hell If you card is stolen you would need at least 2 hours to find out which phone number you have to call to report stolen card the number on their app is incorrect that service only takes reports for credit cards but not a debit ones and when you finally get to call famous robot is asking you stupid questions ofc in German whether you are Sparcasse Volks etc bank customer which is ttl confusing bcs guess what you are not Once you get trough this and do report stolen card and it does get blocked you have to wait for working hours to call your famous OLB branch which is robot call again and ask them to send you new card asap bcs first brach is min 200 km away from you and you have no time to drive there and back is you need money immediately Tip nr 1 always keep some cash for few days just in case something like this happens to you Once you do manage get through the jungle of robots and get live person talking to you you will probably get yelled at like I have experienced and they will hang up on you I have never experienced that someone is yelling at me just because I said hello I could use some help from you regarding Terrible bank terrible customer service process terrible employee who is answering the phone Im just wandering what has audit said for their stolen card processes this cannot be acceptable edit I got the human on the phone not speaking English ofc but we managed to understand each other s New level of hell for new card you need to wait 10 days working days I belive

Worst issue was rude customer support
Worst issue was rude customer support My bank card stopped working two days ago I called their helpline no answer I got on their live chat and explained the situation and the person just told me to call didn t give a number and immediately disconnected The Starter Application does not work on Mac so apparently you can only log in if you have a PC No clue how to get TAN numbers and the card on Apple Wallet was declined in the first usage So lots of disfunction and rude unavailable support The only reason I give it 2 stars is because I ll give them a day to try to sort out their mess
