Business Class Manchester to Bangkok
I flew Oman business class from Manchester to Bangkok in February The service and food was excellent All flights were on time and my only regret was that we only had a few minutes to enjoy the lounge at Muscat on the outward and return flight The seats relined to a horizontal position The entertainment was adequate the flight attendants were very attentive and pleasant Nothing was too much trouble I would not hesitate to fly with them again

Rude and not family friendly
Flight WY 0685 from Muscat to Riyadh at 01 30 on 30 December 2024 As a family of 5 traveling with the only infant of a plane that is not even full of 1 3rd capacity I asked the cabin steward sakar alzadili if he could provide a baby cot his answer was that there was none and left barely watching us A hostess then pro-actively proposes me to go take advantage of free seats a few rows behind me for more comfort which I do once take off is over The same steward comes to me and asks me to leave because the seats I chose are reserved I asked to whom they are reserved since there are two empty rows which is perfect for some privacy with my infant in a night flight his answer you have to pay more for reserved seats so leave Never have I seen such a poor service and understanding towards family even in low cost airlines Ridiculous and despicable behavior and way of addressing people especially coming from a person supposed to represent the company

No meals on an 8 hour flight in
No meals on an 8 hour flight in business class as they have forgotten my vegetarian meal That unfortunately happened to me before with other airlines but Oman Air is the only airline in my life that immediately and only blamed me for this explicitly refused to put together any sort of vegetarian options and after the flight entirely ignored my complaint including by the local office their media department and their CEO

It s very poor airline they don t have
It s very poor airline they don t have staff to attend u when u want to travel little cheaper don t look for Oman airline because might be it s cheaper but what happen if u reach airport and they said sorry we can t give u boarding pass even u are on time Am just sitting airport after my flight left and thinking how careless company can spoil ur holiday time and money and laughs on ur face still am in airport waiting for someone who can give me exact answer but no one here from oman air I have marriage in my house and I spose to be there but due to unprofessional guy spoil my journey even when I have requested him that time for flight almost 1houre 20 mint left and he just smiling and saying after flight will left we can talk nonsense after flight will go what u gona talk

Waste manager and unskilled staffs
Dear Oman Air Customer Relations Team I am filing a formal complaint against Oman Air for the severe harassment deception and gross mismanagement I faced at Chennai Airport on 4th February 2024 Your staff s incompetence led to 14 hours of unnecessary torture financial loss and mental distress 1 Failure to Announce Flight Diversion Misinformation While the flight delay was announced the diversion to Bangalore was not communicated at all I only found out at 10 30 AM by checking the live flight status myself that the flight was scheduled to take off after an 8-hour delay Until then Oman Air deliberately kept passengers in the dark When I confronted the staff they casually told me to book another flight on my own as if it was my problem Staff member Priyanka K specifically told me Just book another flight and go Why should I pay triple the fare because Oman Air failed to handle the situation properly 2 Lies About Alternative Flights Being Stranded for 14 Hours Oman Air lied to me about booking an immediate flight with Etihad when in reality Oman Air does not even book passengers on Etihad The so-called manager name GOMS not sure completely disappeared at 11 30 AM and never showed up again Was he hiding because he had no answers Oman Air forced me and another passenger Prabhu Prince to stay stranded for 14 hours making false promises about alternative flights but never actually booking one Till 6 PM we refused to offload our baggage because Oman Air kept giving us fake promises and no actual booking confirmation Are you serious Even security personnel were frustrated with Oman Air s inefficiency Finally at 6 40 PM Emirates found that Oman Air had not properly booked any ticket I had to personally request the Emirates supervisor Sai Dinaka not sure of name to step in He ran like a machine called everyone and fixed everything within 10 minutes something Oman Air failed to do in 14 hours Even while he was fixing the issue Oman Air staff did not assist him properly Finally he resolved everything and got us on a flight Oman Air should learn from him what real work means 3 Financial Professional Losses Due to Oman Air s IncompetenceYour staff s negligence didn t just cause me inconvenience it led to serious financial losses and missed professional opportunities I missed important work commitments in Milan because of this delay The additional expenses I had to bear for food transport and time wasted due to my delayed arrival in Milan should be Oman Air s responsibility 4 Demand for Compensation Immediate ActionI demand immediate compensation for the harassment false promises and financial losses caused by Oman Air s staff I also demand A detailed written apology for the mismanagement and mental distress caused Monetary compensation for the missed opportunities and extra costs I had to bear A full investigation into the misconduct of Oman Air s Chennai ground staff especially manager GOMS and Priyanka K A commitment to properly train your staff on passenger handling transparent communication and inter-airline coordination 5 Escalation if No ResponseIf I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within 7 days I will escalate this complaint to Directorate General of Civil Aviation DGCA India Civil Aviation Authority of Oman CAA Consumer rights and aviation forums internationallyThis level of deception mistreatment and incompetence is unacceptable for an international airline I expect a swift response with clear compensation details without further delay

They FORCEDLY open my luggage
Hello good day my recent flight with oman air is worst my luggage was forcefully opened after I put it on checked in I was told that the flight from Muscat to Dubai is fully booked so the airport staff told us on the check-in bridge that I need to put my hard cased luggage for check in due no more space at the over head compartments He have asked if there are any valuable things inside and mentioned that I don t have any then left for the flight After we arrived in dxb airport I was shocked that my luggage has been Forcedly Opened I have been flying in and out and this is the first time I had a flight with oman air and I can say that this is not acceptable I have flew cheap airlines as well but so far this has been the worse experience I never thought that this will happen to me since I knew that Middle east is a safe place most specially I been in Dubai for 8 years and flew different airlines and NEVER experienced this kind of damage I was told by the baggage information that I will received an update with the report but until now no one get back to me that is why I am here again Also let me inform you that this is not only me I have friends on the same flight and all of our luggage has been opened FORCEDLY There no lost items because I had only used clothes and few souvenirs and cosmetics but still what happened is NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL AND I AM NOT ABLE TO USE THIS LUGGAGE ANYMORE

This time we had a bad experience with Oman Air Within the last years we have used OmanAir several times flying business Class and had no complaint This time we were booked on an 787 flight and received a 738 with very bad seats which are maximum Premium Economy instead of BusinessClass It is not worth the price we paid The service was average and we had to call several times Never again
