Never got a refund for a return
Terrible customer service I returned 4 UFH floorboards to Omnie after over ordering They received them back and never refunded me I chased up the refund and was told that they never received the boards back from me I told them this wasn t the case and several months later they say they do have the boards but i returned damage boards to them which i certainly didn t and so they disposed of them without telling me or offering me the opportunity to collect the supposedly damaged boards I returned the boards personally in my Van and the Omnie warehouse staff accepted them back and unloaded them from my van without any mention of any damage as they weren t damaged It seems very odd to state they didn t receive the boards back and then to say they did but they were damaged and then to not bother contacting me Terrible service Reply to their reply It s a detailed and exact representation of what happened If you had any other version of what happened I m sure you would provide this Your feedback suggests you re a company to avoid and I wish I d seen other customers experience with you before trusting you

I left a bad review before and asked for a director to respond but nothing I eventually found the CEO s email and asked him to respond to all my correspondence He didn t have the guts to respond in any way What does that tell you After months and months I have received a response from Omnie as below and asking me to ring the number given Based on my previous experiences with your company I will not get anywhere ringing this number If you are serious about resolving my issues I suggest you make direct contact with me You have all of my details

I wouldnt use this company
I wouldnt use this company I was trying to buy a replacement unit from Declan who rarely responded to emails or call He informed me he had checked out a unit purchased before sending when it arrived it was faulty insufficient gas When I called I had no reply You risk having a poor experience and spending all your time chasing up problems if you use this Company

Shockingly poor product
Shockingly poor product I ve used Torfloor in the past and it was an adequate system for a suspended floor in a hallway Torfloor 2 is an inferior product and is not structurally sound The 12mm pipe system proved difficult to join to the 16mm connection at the manifold Even though I d spoke to technical extensively about my existing system they didn t provide the correct information or components They were inexperienced and incompetent and only interested in making a sale Having reinforced and insulated the floor joists the new system was installed as per instructions The 2-part system does not fit together well and there s a lot of structural movement between the upper and lower timber sheets that make the floor up So much so that I had to add an 8mm screed to stabilise before being able to lay Amtico The efficiency of the system is extremely poor too and I certainly wouldn t recommend for use with a heat pump Mine is off a traditional boiler and the output is poor There are much better systems available out there Polyflor for one which can also be used as a structural floor if you reinforce the joists timber between and lay 6mm ply underneath The product is far superior better heat up times better heat retention and though the structural reinforcement and preparation takes longer the finished product blows Torfloor 2 out of the water As an engineer I have to say Torfloor is rubbish expensive and not fit for purpose I contacted omnie and they we re totally disinterested in anything I had to say They re response was to say it had been independently assessed and therefore was structurally sound as a replacement floor deck In my experience it is definitely not Give this company a wide berth Product is poor and customer service non existent

Great product terrible after sales service
Terrible after sales service bought UFH system from them and they suppliers the wrong size pipes resulting in the connectors to the manifold We ve had problems with out boiler ever since and even Walter leaks from the manifold pipes Had to shut down the system completely also incurred in extra plumbing costs as they claimed the pipes and the couplings were the right size Waited weeks for their regional representative to visit which confirmed the problem wrong size pipe connectors Still waiting 3 weeks after this visit for a call or solution from the company It s outrageous that they care so little for their clients and it s a shame as their product it s quite smart and easy to install

We have waiting 3 months for delivery of materials only to be told that not everything has been delivered Another wait In addition the materials which have arrived there is not enough pipework to complete the job This has now set us back 3 plus months on our build project Frustrating and poor service

Expensive Nightmare
I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Omnie Underfloor Heating Systems As someone who undertook a significant renovation project I relied on Omnie for the installation of their underfloor heating system throughout my property What followed was an appalling series of miscommunications incompetence and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction From the onset communication with Omnie was a nightmare Despite multiple emails and phone calls to maintain momentum responses were sluggish and often took several days Specifically the representative handling my case failed to provide timely and accurate information leading to significant misunderstandings and costly mistakes Despite clear instructions and architectural drawings that labelled the intended use of each room including multiple verbal mentions that several areas would be tiled Omnie proposed supplied and installed an MDF top board unsuitable for tiling It wasn t until the tilers arrived that I discovered this critical error This oversight was confirmed by Omnie s own team who then had the audacity to suggest that the suitability decision should have been left to the tilers a blatant attempt to pass the buck and avoid responsibility To rectify this I had to incur an additional 1 650 in costs to install a concrete layer over the existing system not to mention the additional delays and the disruption caused to the overall project This also impacted the bespoke oak staircases and transition joints between different flooring types adding further complexity and expense What s even more infuriating is the lack of response from Omnie s managing director Brendan Hourican who after acknowledging the issue and promising to review the case took 10 days to reply with an email that attempts to wash the company s hands of any responsibility for their mistakes leaving me with no choice but to consider legal action Omnie s service has been nothing short of a nightmare characterized by poor advice inadequate specifications and abysmal customer support I strongly advise anyone considering their products to look elsewhere Save yourself the frustration additional costs and the appalling lack of accountability that Omnie seems to champion
