Overwritten my work

Several times I have saved documents and they have been overwritten by an earlier copy because Onedrive had an issue syncing This time it deleted a whole day s worth of work Everyone who developed this will burn in hell

Worst service from a so called tech

Worst service from a so called tech giant They deleted all my folders despite using only 10 of allocated space Customer service was a joke they didn t care about investigating the issue nor doing a minimum effort to restore my files even though i suggested the possibility of a hack after looking at my sign-in activity log listing several attempts to log into my account from different ip addresses abroad for the last month Baffled how my account wasn t flagged I sent them all the details required and 3 weeks later i get a response stating that if the data is no longer in the trash folder then there s nothing they can do I just cancelled all my subscriptions for their services including Office Lesson learned

Extremely poor and frustrating

Outlook and OneDrive s ability to recognise and work seamlessly between private and work accounts is extremely poor Most frustratingly there seems to be a delay of about 24 hours in OneDrive s upload download of new docs and making them available to attach to an Outlook email OneDrive is frequently unable to find a doc that s just being created and saved to it until about 24 hours later which is extremely frustrating

Invasive

Invasive - feels like a VirusOnedrive is just awful it invades your pc becomes the default for everything with no ability to turn off functions or remove files feels like microsoft is trying to con people into buying extra storage once you get to 5GB

Try and uninstall it and you cant remove it because files are in use somewhere else do everything you can to remove it and it stays running in the background like the virus it is Gotta reformat my PC to get rid of it now recommended everyone uninstall it using CCleaner right when you reset a fresh windows version Using Proton Drive now and its going great They have a promotion for anyone who had an account before around a month ago where you can now get 5 GB storage free which is perfect

The Cloud sucks

Download each file from the cloud to a temp folder to open Wait till it s visible in explorer before it s uploaded again Download a x amount of GB video file just to see if it s the file you re looking for It s not sustainable because it uses more ROM You need an internet connection to open edit files

One of the worst experiences with cloud services Problems with synchronization searching for files on OneDrive and opening files online Extremly slow synchronization A huge problem with switching MS accounts between school private and work Sometimes less is better I don t recommend this product at all If you don t want to spend time searching for your files DON T USE ONEDRIVE

Do not touch it

I cannot express the mess this thing made of my filing system It totally reorganises your file system then if your file storage needs are excessive requires payment- and no way for you to roll back any file changes A basic system preview check could have been coded as part of the upload process Sort of How much file space do you need- how much do we offer- shall we proceed But -no- rearranges your files regardless The worst upgrade imaginable Any answer onedrive

Awful company releases unstable updates

Awful company You pay them money only for their own services team to load a highly unstable update out to users that renders users unable to upload to their One Drive Outlook Cloud Service The support case has been on-going for nearly a month yet still being tossed around Useless service and no meaningful support Would advise to avoid for both businesses and individuals
