Biased

Openweb should be renamed as closed web there is nothing open about the moderators deciding what can cannot be said freedom of speech should not be discriminated against unless of course it is offensive to certain things that I understand But an honest review about their biased moderators Should ve been allowed

Hey OpenWeb

Hey OpenWeb Please tell me how the below quoted comments violate ANY sort of community guidlines on the Yahoo platform Refer to Arizona Revised Statutes 13-3841 through 13 3870 02 and 18 USC 3182 You should look up Arizona law regarding extradidtion before complaing about a koolaid drinking DA and precedence Just to make it easy 18 USC 3841 and ARS 18-3841 through 12 2870 02 are the relevant Statutes Please note that koolaid drinking is a quote from the post being replied to That is what is required under Arizona law NYS made the mistake of trying to bully their way into getting the suspect in violation of the ARS

Banned by OpenWeb

Unfortunately I wasn t given the option of giveing OpenWeb AOL no stars I ve been banned from making comments on AOL by OpenWeb and I have no idea why There was no notification Their supposedly purpose is to bring conversations back from social networks to publisher sites But it s more like their purpose is to silence those they don t agree with There s no way to contact OpenWeb and I did call AOL But they just said to file this issue on their feedback I m sure it went right into the bit bucket

Open web silences conservative voices

Open web silences conservative voices You can post facts about Joe Biden And make statements that you believe he is more of a racist than Trump and your comments get rejected The left can put all kinds of baseless allegations about Trump and it is published freely I need to stay off Yahoo when they use such a deceptive moderator

Institutional scammers SOS Shills of

Institutional scammers SOS Shills of Soros There is nothing open about OpenWeb Even the most mundane of comments is censored not posted Today a prime example Took a direct quote paragraph from Wikipedia about absolute facts related to a famous living person No commentary from me whatsoever Rejected and then rejected on appeal One can go to OpenWeb and visit all the pages there is absolutely no definitive statements regarding the fake community standards All a hoax for Yahoo and other platforms to hide behind Why are comments even available Two reasons 1 Eyeballs on a page MAY translate into revenue either direct purchases or clicks 2 Eyeballs on a page equals data harvesting Let me give you a huge example Microsoft has a feature in Word where it will transcribe audio for free Now why would MS dod that Mind you it is not transcribed native on your machine it is sent to the Cloud BECAUSE boys girls they take your audio and use for their AI LLM - large language model When you look for any disclosures like OpenWeb none found

ClosedWeb

OpenWeb is frequently censoring my comments and when I have contacted them to ask why which honesty is a mystery to me they do not answer They have a number of stated purposes incl creating safe spaces but no stated ambition to offer the user fair treatment or transparancy - and they certainly don t do that Specifically they should also make it clear whether a given comment has been published - now it f4lsely appears to the logged-in user as his her comment has been posted - but it is invisible to any other user It would also be nice to have a counter on each article that showed the number of comments they have held back for review or already rejected - it s really a joke that you can see users keep typing comments but none gets posted - and they ironically write Be the first to comment Maybe time for our politicians to legislate about basic transparency in the public online debate Open Web is not your friend

While reading an article on CNN s

While reading an article on CNN s website I always see a comment button but when I click on it it takes me to the bottom of the page but no comments show up There are always 200 comments on these articles but for some reason I can t comment or see the ones that are there The article I was reading today when this happened is at htt m 2024 09 05 m h t -h - m -t k r- rl - z - r g - t rv html b- v After going to OpenWeb s site and reading their material it appears to be a censorship platform aimed at only allowing comments that fit neatly into what the site owners want them to be rejecting all other comments that don t fit into the narrative the site owners are pushing That is what it seems like it is geared toward They boast of boosting site usage increasing the time spent on the site by users and user retention I guess that works as they say when they eliminate all other points of view except for one And perhaps that does generate more revenue for a site like CNN but what does that do for our society by creating an echo-chamber where everyone believes the same things and repeatedly pat each other on the backs for doing so People who would sell our 1st amendment right to free speech for any amount of money lack the kind of qualities that true Americans have I personally hope this company goes bankrupt and preferably before they help bring about the end of free speech
