I called Optimum to cancel my services
I called Optimum to cancel my services at 8 30 AM today because the price for internet and cable keeps going up Today was the first day of my billing cycle They stayed I would be responsible for paying for the entire upcoming month and they would not shut down my services until the end of the month My request was they shut down services today or tomorrow I had been with them 7 years snd they kept raising prices They tried to offer several packages to keep me with them I declined still refusing to shut off my service until Dec 20 I wanted them to prorate my bill but they refused I am very unhappy with this policy I am not the only person in my neighborhood this has happened to

Bad internet even worse customer service These people cannot even properly manage their billing when I canceled they could not figure out why I was stuck with a 200 bill for a contract-less account If you have ANY other options do not go with Optimum

Total trash
Total trash Service is constantly interrupted which makes for an unpleasant viewing experience This is the only service provider that doesn t permit you to use their app You have to pay extra to utilize the app

Bad Service
Spoke with representative being of October and cancelled service Rep said there would be no other charges my balance was zero Rep disconnected service in mid October Received a bill for an additional month because the cut off date was scheduled for Nov 23 I had no service with them and they scheduled the disconnect after the start of the new billing period Don t do business with Optimum

I canceled my service due to moving out
I canceled my service due to moving out of their coverage area The next month they billed me for 80 I called to find out why they said I didn t cancel So I ask for reimbursement and to make sure my account was canceled The next month I was billed another 80 So I called again They told me my account wasn t canceled So they owe me 160 for to months of service They said they would take a look at it and get back with me A month later they send me a gift card for 32 This company is not good with their customer relations I have spent a total of 3-4 hours on the phone with them and 3 months waiting Do yourself a huge favor and go with a different company

This search request took longer and timed out This almost a daily message when you try to search or do anything in optonline YOu have to delete messages one by one etcThier storage is the most limited of any major email service and customer services is virtaully non-existent emails not nbeing recieved etc I have stopped calling support cause when I have a problem although they are polite they are useless Thier problems are so frequesnt I don t believe management has an interest in fixing itNo one ever calls you back and when they do they eiither are not helpful or its a few days later I am trying to get off my optonline account and have switched to gmail which is mouch much better

Trying to port my phone to another carrier It appears that they are intentionally blocking my effort to do so They give me port pins that don t work very suspicious They have me caught between a rock and a hard place

Liars and terribly informed customer service Promised price guarantee and gift cards which never received and price kept going up Until I cancelled they wouldn t let me cancel before keeping me on the phone for 45 min to try to convince me with those same lies to stay Terrible Stay away Back to Verizon FiOS

I just got off the phone with Regina
I just got off the phone with Regina and it was worst experience I had she would not listen to me she argued with me saying I was wrong multiple times the internet said that I was on the ACP program gave me the internet and equipment and later billed me more money than I was supposed to I told him about it they said they would fix it and failed to fix it so my bill got higher I called about it and they were very rude worst internet ever
