Oticon Companion awful
Two and I 2 years ago I paid slightly under 3500 00 for Oticon hearing aids Until about two months ago with the original Bluetooth app I had absolutely no complaints however now with the new supposedly improved Oticon Companion App I could not be more disappointed Most of the time it doesn t work at all On the 8th December 2023 I had the Oticon rep out to try and sort it out for me He managed to get it to work while he was with me but in no time at all after he left it just dropped out again I have no intention of constantly uninstalling and reinstalling the App so I will not be buying or recommending Oticon again

Don t go near Oticon Have been visiting my audiologist on a
Have been visiting my audiologist on a weekly basis lately Each time he adjusts my Oticon hearing aids resolving one problem throws up another one On the last appointment he changed the phone app which was the only feature that was working properly for the latest version This is simply diabolical lack of volume and shuts down hearing aids at random Never never have anything to do with Oticon

I had no problems whatsoever with the previous Oticon app and took it for granted that the new app would be equally as functional and even have some improved get How wrong I was The new app is nowhere near as functional I am having real problems with connectivity I have to continually re-connect Get a grip Oticon and take heed of your customer s issues and take some action

Dreadful Updated App
I really regret having listened to Oticon and installed their updated App while at the same time deleting the old App The old App was much better None of the connectivity problems mentioned elsewhere My particular complaint is that I invariably wear only one hearing aid due to loss of part of my other ear The new App does not allow me to make ANY adjustments e g for volume unless both aids are connected It will not respond at all until the second aid is connected Thus when I am out and about with only one aid inserted I am unable to make any adjustments Sadly I cannot revert to the old App which worked fine Sad to see that none of the complaints about the new App have elicited any response from Oticon I have written these comments here as I am unable to find any way of communicating with Oticon in particular via the Playstore App whose glowing reviews seem to relate only to the old App Shame on you Oticon

The customer service is just TERRIBLE
The customer service is just TERRIBLE My new expensive hearing aids were fitted without replacement rubber domes and I was told to order on Amazon The ones which arrived did not match mine I made 7 phone calls to customer service Every time one is taken to a call centre or a plastic voice message NO ONE RINGS ME BACK I think it would be better get refund and find a company who give customer support

Oticon Companion loads slower
Oticon Companion loads slower and drains battery faster Very disappointed in the improved app It was also a chore to install Even with Oticon helping on the phone

DO NOT LOAD Companion on an Android
DO NOT LOAD Companion on an Android phone took my phone out of action for a whole weekend screen would lock and unlock without any interaction I was thinking I d broken the phone and preparing to replace it then uninstalled Companion and all back working fine worse than utterly useless should be withdrawn IMMEDIATELY

Compared to the other complaints I can
Compared to the other complaints I can connect both aids to app but it doesnt last long constantly turning off Bluetooth for the reconnect and changing batteries if it doesnt work Very unhappy and having to depend on this useless app Old one I had no issues at all Not expecting anyone on company to review this but defo going against audiology advise and revert to third party app

I have had my hearing aids for two
I have had my hearing aids for two years Have had problems connecting to my phone often on and now recently I can t connect to my phone at all I agree with all these other comments they need to fix the bugs so I can use these properly and listen to my phone Thanks
