Piece of garbage worked for about three weeks crapped out kept disconnection finally started staying connected then crapped out no support basically told sorry Can t return it You re out of luck

Ordered my ottocast usb was delivered to the wrong address informed ottocast and after an exchange of 2 emails Ottocast resend another one to my correct address No questions asked This is the type of service you d expect when dealing with on line services Top notch I highly recommend them The device works like a charm

When firms ware was updated it works

When firms ware was updated it works excellent Opened it up and plugged in out of the box and it worked Then I noticed it had some intermittent issues where every third time it would get hung up and need a manual reboot That wasn t a big deal but not what I was expecting I contacted Ottocast with my issue and they responded 2 Days later with a fix I updated the firmware and the U2Air Pro is working wirelessly without need to reboot Love it

Much improved device I purchased this updated version of the wireless CarPlay Adapter for 2 reasons The original version of the original OTTOCAST allows the user to Bluetooth only one IPhone Attempting to use a different IPhone did not work This new version corrects this issue and with a push of a small button on the adapter you can disengage one phone and connect another The second reason was that I just needed a separate adapter for a different car

Works great once you get the proper update I got a new RAV4 Hybrid and needed to replace my old iPod touch I also wanted a device that I can leave in the car for offline NAV and steaming my music collection and running Dr Prius Dash command and Hybrid assistant It works great I can even preview the flight videos shot from my fixed wing drones while at my club s airfield At first it did not work well symptoms were glitches during audio playback and poor graphics I started a return but before I packaged it up I ran the latest software update Everything works well now In fact I can use my registered version of Double Twist and pre-equalize my music before streaming through my car s JBL sound system It sounds great now My Rock Grunge Blues collection sounds better than with the pre-equalization I did with my old iPod

Finally after trying other brands I found this unit and it works beautifully for ONE phone Connected right away when I first set it up and connects every time within 10 seconds or so without any black screen or audio issues like with other devices I ve tried Well worth the money to have wireless Apple CarPlay now as wired is a real chore when I m getting in and out of my car This product needs a firmware update to provide a menu when it boots up where I can choose from at least two iPhones as my spouse has an iPhone too and when either or both of us get in the car with our phones we need to be able to choose which one we want the U2-Air adapter to connect to That would be a 5 star feature for sure

Works like a dream My previous SUV had wireless CarPlay and I missed it in my 2022 Jeep Cherokee I researched several different adapters before finally settling on this one and I m so glad I did Setup was super simple and fast It paired with my phone almost immediately and CarPlay worked just as it does with the phone plugged in In the time it used to take to plug in my phone the Ottocast U2Air Pro adapter has already synced with my phone and CarPlay is activated I ve noticed no lag time except when fast-forwarding or rewinding an audio book But even that is only a couple of seconds I use WAZE frequently and it works great with the Air Pro This adapter is a game-changer and has seamlessly converted my wired CarPlay to wireless I couldn t be happier with the function the small size and the ease of use

Got this for my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Easy one-time set up and now as soon as I get in it automatically connects - perfect I love not having wires all over the place or having to remember to unplug the phone when I leave the vehicle The only reason I didn t give 5 stars is that when I m listening to an audiobook it ll occasionally hiccup and jump either back to the start of the chapter or forward to the beginning of the next one I don t know if that s an Audible app issue or this device but it didn t happen when I was using a wired connection and it s super annoying when I m driving Probably wouldn t even notice the hiccup listening to music - otherwise the sound quality is great
