Very deceptive advertising

Saw and ad on YouTube advertising a New Insurance company that was offering lower rates in my area So of course I clicked the add and put my info in Because it s about time there was a New insurance company But no All they did was sell my info to every insurance company with 50 miles of me And I was inundated with calls and text for over a week from all the not New insurance companies that have already ripped me off for years and every one of them quoted me double what I m paying right now for insurance

OTTO Insurance A Scam That Sells Your Information

I recently contacted OTTO Insurance to inquire about their car insurance rates The rates were unreasonably high so I decided not to purchase a policy However I soon realized that OTTO was nothing but a scam The first red flag was when I started receiving calls and emails from other insurance companies These companies were all offering me lower rates than OTTO I realized that OTTO had sold my information to these companies I tried to contact OTTO to request that they stop contacting me but they were unresponsive I eventually had to block their email address and phone number I would strongly recommend that you avoid OTTO Insurance They are a scam company that will sell your information to other companies

Just another scam to get your information so insurance co can contact you

Yeah this company takes your information and gives it to all these insurance companies And they claim on Instagram that you re going to get this low rate But they just give your information to Major insurance companies who are all expensive and so don t waste your time

I saw ad about Otto Insurance which offers cheap auto insurance rate After filling out all my information including birth date address phone email address I don t have a quote but they bombard with a lot of emails and phone calls Don t go to this website to get insurance quote

I was looking for homeowners insurance

I was looking for homeowners insurance and put in my information I have received 50 calls and 25 emails from firms asking the same information I imputed Some asked for SSN I have spend 3 days marking numbers as junk

Waste of Time

I just got done with filling out my info on their site and it never gave me a quote it s just a glorified redirection link Platform And they Collect all your info and sell it Not shocking but they didn t do what the said so its not earned

Buyer beware

Unfortunately I thought that they were an underwriter but it seems they are just a company that takes your information and sends it out other insurance brokers that give you quotes I had to block 23 numbers and text also clean out my email just to stop this insanity and never received a quote unless I gave my information again I do believe you can do this by yourself and save a lot of aggravation and still get a good rate

Just saw a YouTube ad and reminded me about the experience I had a couple years ago Unfortunately their ads are very misleading when advertising a cost per month insurance policy for a young 20 year old driver In one of their ads it shows what seems to be a young teenager paying 23 dollars a month for car insurance This is just not the case it is an example of false advertising I am aware they are only a comparison service but this methodology of advertisement is untrue and can be very misleading
