Never again

I order online Stuff delivered quickly 1 item missing I use the contact form and argue that I am missing 1 item I can prove I am right Support tells me they do not have a web system for missing stuff They generate internally a return order although I cannot return an item which I never received I am told that I have to order the item again So I do This results in a NEW automatic bill generated by PowerPay in St Gallen 2 days again this bill is partly cancelled But not the postal shipment I receive the 1 item missing So far almost good Then I receive a handwritten bill from Ottos s charging me for the item that was missing in the 1st shipment Net result I was never compensated for the missing item in the 1st delivery A web site which has been online for many years and cannot handle such a transaction in a reasonable way Next time I order from Migros or Coop again

Avoid these crooks you will spare many headaches

Please do yourself a favour and do not order there everything is always broken when it arrives You send it back and send you shady companies to force you pay 10x the initial price of your broken items you sent back The harassment last years it s their business model Very hard to have the customer service when you finally manage their excuse is that they are understaffed These crooks should go to jail

Pay attention to the expiration date on Otto s products

Our experience was very bad because in an Otto s branch we bought without realizing it items that had expired for over a month Customers should buy the goods with their eyes closed without checking the goodsexpiration as generally a company should take care of it We find this case very disappointing Be careful and check the deadlines We don t think about going to Otto s anymore

Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Staff Behavior at Ottos

Subject Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Staff Behavior at OttosI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated during a recent visit to one of your Ottos stores in Switzerland On 28 04 2025 I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a Victoria s Secret body splash As there were no testers available I carefully smelled a few of the sealed bottles to help me decide on a scent While doing so a staff member who was nearby abruptly told me that the bottles were not testers and that I was not allowed to smell them I politely explained that in the absence of testers this was the only way to choose a fragrance However she continued to speak in a rude tone and even took one of the bottles directly out of my hand which I found highly disrespectful and unnecessary I fully understand the importance of store policies but I believe the situation could have been handled in a much more professional and courteous manner Furthermore not providing testers for scented products significantly impairs the customer s ability to make an informed purchase I kindly suggest that your stores consider offering testers for fragrance products and that customer service staff receive appropriate training in handling such situations with more empathy and professionalism I look forward to your response and appreciate your attention to this matter

Careful with expiration date don t order ANY food

I have ordered several times with them in the past especially for Pampers products On a positive note the orders have always arrived quickly and the prices are attractive However in the last order we added Knorr Bouillon chicken broth It arrived mid March with an expiration date in May which I find unreasonably short for such a product The customer service said I don t have a right to return as long as the date hasn t passed - which personally I find unfortunate and upsetting Long story short - I know they are right but I feel played It s something else if you pick your products in store and see the date You get what you pay I will order elsewhere in the future being willing to pay a tiny bit more
