A great initiative and support system for people who have the capability to make repayments but unable to save enough deposit Tim and team are amazing Super friendly approach and open to customizing solutions with changing circumstances Unfortunately due to personal circumstances we couldn t proceed further with Own Home on this ocassion however they are recommended for everyone who is currently struggling to save the deposit

My partner and I have recently bought our first home all thanks to the help of the amazing team at Ownhome The service they are offering to get first homeowners into their home sooner might not be for everyone but it is definitely worth exploring if you are sick of renting have been working towards your deposit and don t have the financial help from family The team have been so helpful honest and always available to answer any question we have had along our journey I don t think I could go through the process of buying a house ever again without the help of Bridget and Jarrad the absolute dream team They did all the hard work and held our hand through every step of the process while we got to do the fun bit of choosing our home I would highly recommend reaching out to Ownhome if it is something you are considering no matter where you are up to in your first homeownership journey We initially started speaking with Nathan over a year ago when we weren t quite ready to start this process and as he made the process so clear we were able to set the goals we needed to get here today

I didn t end up using Own Homes services but we did consult with Nathan to see if it would be a good option for myself and my partner Nathan was so informative and helpful and when it turned out that there were different options that may be more beneficial for us in the long run he was still so supportive and helpful and gave us a referral to someone who would be able to help us more in our instance He went above and beyond and I really appreciate that none of our discussions or consultations felt pressured in any way leaving me feeling a lot more confident If we have a change of situation where Own Home became more suitable to our needs I would be so confident to proceed with Nathan and his team

Amazing experience getting into our ownhome Having been on the house hunting journey for over 6 months we tried every avenue but something or the other didn t work out to our satisfaction After speaking to Tim from Ownhome in Nov we thought it was too good to be true and were really skeptical about signing the first agreement Fast forward 3 months we are so glad we did We are in our own home now and had an amazing home buying experience right from inspecting houses property assessment price negotiation to settlement I d highly recommend to folks currently looking to buy a place to check out their website - it has got all answers to most of the initial questions and have a word with the team for additional assurances before you decide As with any startup there are risks working with them but since OwnHome is backed by CBA ventures - the level of that risk is minimal basis my understanding
