They send me a parking fine to which I have paid and have a receipt for the parking on the day I send them a copy of the receipt but it not received a email to still pay the fine

Disgraceful company who do not respond
Disgraceful company who do not respond to genuine queries about unfair targeting of genuine people The blatant policy of being able to access them directly is designed to make people pay up when there is no fault by them Currently being threatened by them I do think that there needs to be a group set up to challenge this form of Corporate bullying-who is up for a challenge

Disgruntled tourists from Australia
We were tourists from Australia and booked into Holiday Inn in Oxford on 5 September paid for parking at reception and have evidence on my credit card statement We subsequently were charged one hundred pounds by Hertz on 20 December after we had returned to Australia I provided evidence of my payment to Hertz who advised me to sort it out with Parkmavon After a long exchange of correspondence Parkmavon advised that as the fine was paid by my rental company they would not consider an appeal They would not acknowledge that the fine was issued illegally I believe this amounts to fraudulent behavior by this company Judging by the amount of similar complaints I believe this is their way of carrying out their business I m unaware of the system of lodging complaints but they definitely need investigating There may also be complicity with Holiday Inn as they seem to be a common factor in a lot of these transactions I believe they purposely target rental cars as the rental company pay the fine within the 14 days and then pass it on to the renter who doesn t receive notice for 2 months later My notice was stamped THRIFTY whereas the company was actually HERTZ

Holiday inn will loose its customers
I will think twice before staying in another holiday in at this rate They put thoes machines in their lobby for parking payment which does not work but you won t know about it until the penalty charge comes to your door This company is diffinately giving some money to holiday inn I told them I can be seen on the video making payments I even provided my receipts for Dartford crossing so why would I avoid 12 parking fee to then pay a penalty charge My hotel stay was almost 400 it makes no sense They said to pay 25 in few days or 100 afterwards I was going to pay 25 and now found the date had past I will not be paying a 100 I have asked them to revert back to 25 Well fingers crossed

The machine was not working on the day I received a parking ticket several people also were unable to pay due to the machines and I sent an appeal and guess what no response Then now there doubling the charge No customer service number Only an email and no response

Scam artists who issue tickets when you have proof you paid
While staying at The Moxy Plymouth for my sons passing out from the Navy I received a ticket for the 2nd night of my stay The first night I purchased my parking ticket at their machine in the car park but the 2nd night I paid inside at reception receiving a discount which I hadnt known about the 1st night Parkmaven claim I didnt pay despite having proof from my bank Unfortunately the fine went to Avis we had a hired car and they paid it within 3 days using the credit card stored on file and they charged me 30 handling fee before informing me 2 weeks later Parkmaven ignored several emails querying the ticket and asking for help getting a refund Avis also ignored my emails Im 90 down as scammed by 2 companies

Parking fine for legitimate stay
Booked a hotel and airport parking through a reputable third party and not for the first time at this hotel Now received a parking fine from Parkmaven who it appears now control that hotels car park The third party I booked through is trying to contact them to get it cancelled as I obviously have proof of parking No response as of yet

Parking at Premier Inns
I had a room booked at a Premier Inn in Petersfield and parked in the adjoining car park In reception I was told to input my registration details onto the screen for free parking Two weeks later I got notified through Octopus EV car schemes that they had received a parking fine from Parkmaven I have been trying to complete an appeal on their online platform as I thought it would be a formality to get it processed and agreed but once I had set out the reason for the appeal and uploaded the invoice for the stay at the Premier Inn and pressed send it took me back to the point I started at and I could progress trying to complete the process again I am at a loss to what I can do now as when I try to call them I get cut off as soon as I try to enter the penalty number Clearly designed a process to make genuine appeals easy
