We stroked our cat as she faded away at her familiar home

Last night Dr Suzen came to our home where we had a beloved member of our family - Keisha a 13 year old Tonkinese cat who had been in intermittent distress with a chronic cough These spasms left her gasping for breath terrified wide eyed and we believed each one would kill her She had had tons of specialist vet care and the last visi to the local vet discovered lymphoma We made that terrible decision - with expert input and decided to free her of her misery Having used Vets2Home twice before years ago we did not hesitate to call them again and they were recommended by our vets Dr Suzan is wonderful Respectful reverent perceptive gentle tender patient - takes stock of you and the patient slowly before taking any action She explains what will happen reassures you and gives you confidence you are doing the right thing Keisha had an initial injection which put her nice and slowly into a deep coma - with us stroking her and saying how much we loved her Only when she was at this stage in a very deep sleep did Dr Suzen double check that she was hardly with us and gave her one small last injection which put Keisha to sleep forever very quickly Dr Suzen was at pains to give us all the time we needed and to go at our own pace The atmosphere was peaceful Keisha was on her familiar mat in her familiar surrounds and had the best death she could possibly have All animals deserve this kind of parting from life and humans too Vets2 Home were the first to carry out home euthanasia in UK and we always recommend them This is the last declaration of love you can give to thank your pet for how they have enriched your life and it leaves you better able to manage the loss I cannot imagine anyone ever subjecting this family member to a visit via a car journey to the often perceived scary vets for their last experience There is no contest Please let Vets2Home use their fantastic expertise and kindness to work with you for that last goodbye at home

The Lee Family5My mother used to say Angel s walk amongst us and she was right Dr Suzen and her eldest daughter Amanda are proof They helped our family through one of the hardest days imaginable letting go and saying goodbye to our beautiful 14 year old Irish Staffordshire bull terrier Roxy Amanda was in contact with us via text messages all day keeping us updated and informed with a grace and kindness above and beyond our expectations Dr Suzen came to our home and was absolutely amazing Calm kind compationate professional and timeless attention was given to us as well as to Roxy We were definitely in the presence of an Angel walking amongst us This is an incredible company providing a first class service Dr Suzen has created a flawless service that she performs with perfection and professionalism Bless you Dr Suzen for your dedication in the work you do and for giving so much of yourself to helping animals and families like ours Bless you Amanda for having the same passion and assisting in your mother s journey to bring peace when it is most needed Our family is forever in your debt With Heart felt thanks The Lee family

Total compassion

Our fur baby suddenly declined over 24 hours and it was a weekend We did not want to take him to an emergency vets he didn t know I had heard of Vets2home and gave them a call From the very first contact in the early evening of Saturday the compassion shown was amazing The vet arrived at lunchtime on Sunday having previously send an email and then a text with her arrival time She was with us for 45 minutes showing the upmost compassion to us and our dog She uses a two stage approach so that the dog is peacefully sleeping before she gave the life ending injection She then bought in a lovely dog bed and blankets for our dog to be placed in before she took him away to be cremated We had a choice of containers for his remain The whole process was a wonderful comfort to us at a terrible time

Kindness and respect

Kindness and respect are the words I would use when I think of Dr Suzen She helped us say goodbye to our lovely dog Cookie in July in a calm and really gentle way We were given lots of reassurance and all the time we needed at every step and although we are left with lots of sadness we have the knowledge that Cookie was never worried or scared in any way She was at home and in her own surroundings Big thanks to Dr Suzen and her team J and R

Natasha came to our house the dayafter we made cotact spent nealry a hour with us there was no rushing or clock watching She ensured our cat was heavily sedated and let s take our time to say goodbye Our cat passed peacefully at home on his favourite blanket Thank you

Wonderful caring people when you have to say goodbye

Wonderful people dealing an awful life event Saying goodbye to my little lady was the hardest thing ive ever done but Susan was soooo lovely helpful and thoughtful I am so grateful for how she was on that day so much so I recommended her again when my partners family dog needed the same care a moth later So worth the money and provides options for cremation as well to fit your budget if there can be a budget for such things But the ability to say goodbye to my lovely girl in our home where she wasnt stressed and snuggled up in her bed was priceless Very highly recommend

Laceys Angels

Dr Suzen was was Laceys Angel she was so gentle kind and compassionate The day of 17th October 2023 will stay with me forever it started with the difficult call to Vets2Home to ask for help for my beautiful Lacey I was told that Dr Suzen would be making home visit that day to help Lacey and me Dr Suzen was amazing she was Laceys Angel sent to help Lacey pass with no suffering I m so glad that Dr Suzen founded Vets2Home to help our beloved pets and their families I will always hold a place in my heart for Dr Suzen and the Vets2Home team Thankyou on behalf of Lacey for the gentleness you showed her as she struggled to let go naturally Karen Pinfold

There is no better way for a life story to close

From my first tearful phone call to the moment the vet left we and our pets were treated with great kindness compassion and respect I was fearful we had left it to late as our cat deteriorated very suddenly on a bank holiday weekend but i was assured it would be ok and it was I cant express how wonderful Vet Sue was everything was explained what we wanted was no problem My boy never knew a thing he just purred his way over the rainbow bridge Our animals were all given time to say goodbye and i could not have asked for a more peaceful and gentle was for Olivers life story to end
