Great idea lousy support team
So I ve used the site for about 8 months now It started off great Met some interesting folks But this month I had a few issues that required support One card wouldn t register to notify sender it was received Support told me it should work Well yeah it should but it didn t My reply asked the guy to forward it to someone who wants to help Turns out there was a glitch in their system that programmers were able to resolve Yay I was prepared to be happy Their FAQ says if postcards aren t marked received after 30 days to contact support and they ll be re-printed and mailed again Around the 20th of July 2022 I mailed off 3 cards two on the same day and a third a couple days later All to USA addresses which is also where I am None have been received I contacted support per their FAQ Same unhelpful customer service person responds and tells me some people don t register their cards Well yes but given their FAQ that s not the response I expected Added bonus as I sent my last card I was down to a 1 45 balance in my credits which is just short of what s needed to send a card I had to reload credits in order to use them instead of just paying the difference We ll see if they ll refund my purchase less that amount since they definitely aren t honoring their side of the deal

Possible scam
Tried to send a postcard I have enough credits bit this mob want me to purchase more credits This mob is nothing short of a scam And should be investigated for fraudulent activity

Maybe a scam
I subscribed to the monthly service so I could IM people Everyone I sent a friend request to accepted my request but NOT ONE responded to my initial texts As well it costs 2 49 to send a paper postcard I sent many No response I question whether this is legit or not

Not REAL
In short I suffered a military romance scam I was not communicating with the man in the picture er warning Don t bother with this site perhaps the SITE is a scam site itself There are real genuine people in the REAL WORLD and there are REAL PEOPLE online research first Penpal me would have to prove that it s a penpal writing site I won t hold my breath What a joke

No technical support
To echo previous reviews about no technical support The site at times shoots itself in the foot because you must have some special computer screen size just to complete a CC payment for a postcard Hard to believe I have actually contacted a few REAL humans who write chatty and interesting postcards Other times I requested help regarding my postcards that got lost and never got an answer But the biggest problem is you get no help when you hit a technical glitch

This site is a joke You pay to send postcards with limited amounts of words you can write and the postcard takes months to arrive to the recipient Awful service Never again

These people aren t real I keep getting weird letters where the person can t even talk right It s either bots or scammers I got 1 postcard and it was a scammer asking me to join his snapchat I m done with this site

I ve tried connecting quite a few
I ve tried connecting quite a few times and despite it claiming not to be a dating site ment immediately wanted to exchange emails to avoid using the site The ones that appear to be very handsome and successful use this same line when asked what they do for work the response has been I maintain engineering or Ill platforms or some vague platform kind of job Notice that the responses do not actually answer anything personal And eventually you start seeing responses that appear to be cut and paste Worse waste of money and time

Best penpal website
Great website to meet new people and exchange postcards with each other I use it for around two months now and was receiving postcards from the US Japan and Canada without problems I was using some other pen pal websites before but there were a lot of scammers which is not the case in this one Definitely recommend
