Having spent a lot of hours researching microchips and the various databases using Avid was a no-brainer for our cat charity Very pleased with our choice as their service has always been A Friendly efficient and knowledgeable If there s ever a nationalised database I definitely hope Avid get the contract to manage it

I received a 5 star service from Petrac this week At the most stressful time for us about to take our dogs for Rabies vaccinations to move abroad I checked my dogs details and discovered that he was still registered with the breeder on his microchip This would have created major delays and issues at the time of export so I spent hours emailing calling Petrac and the breeder I was in a desperate flap A process that would normally take up to 28 days to change was managed professionally within 24 hours This was because the staff at Petrac listened to my pleas and understood how stressful it was for me and they understood how it could impact on my dog during the export process So they worked hard to complete the process in record time for me They liased with myself and the breeder to make it happen as quickly as I needed it and I am so very grateful and thankful to them for this They really helped to take away my stress that day I would recommend them to anyone

The website works well and the customer service in a world where that s often a misnomer is first class PETtrac is a really well-run organisation where the staff know their stuff and deal with problems quickly and effectively

If Carlsberg did microchips

Like all rescues we have to use various microchip databases due to how the system works The ability to communicate with the ease of use and the customer service varies from provider to provider and in our view PETtrac sets the standard that we wish some others would follow We appreciate their support but most importantly making our lives that much easier thank you

Very helpful and polite

I had to call them several times and on each occasion they were polite very helpful and patient with my queries They were very open about the costs and charges when changing your address I am very happy with there services and I recommend them

Imported dog change of registration

I made a call to call to change the registration info of my imported dog from Spain They picked up the call straight away no waiting and in 2 minutes everything was sorted forms on the way for me to fill Really easy process when I was expecting things to be a lot more complicated Perfect customer service and really nice guy helping me at the other side of the phone I wish I would have asked his name to give him some credit Thanks
