Although the delivery took a lot longer than I expected from advice given by the team in South Africa I feel that the UK shipping rep and delivery team were very helpful and honest with me Particularly Simon Edwards who kept me informed and explained what would happen and why Thank you to the delivery drivers for handling my effects carefully

Good service for my pack and store - part 1 of my house move Tommy and crew came over two days to pack and remove to store They were fast professional and considerate in checking what was for store and what I would take with me They were concerned I had everything necessary for the overnight stay in the house The second day they were back to complete the pack and store All this was against the backdrop of appalling weather snow sleet and sub zero temperatures yet they were cheerful and positive throughout Thanks also to Penny and Emma who arranged the contract and were so reassuring when the move date approached I m looking forward to part 2 removal from store and delivery going as well when I complete my onward purchase Thanks everyone

Better than I could possibly have hope for

The removals guys were great from start to finish nothing was too much trouble and they were so helpful at both the move and delivery addresses As I remarked on the form I had to sign on completion I definitely felt we had the A team they were first class Pickfords were the most expensive quote we had but not by much and certainly not enough to make us go elsewhere The confidence in having a longstanding removals company help us with our move was easily worth the little extra they charged and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a house move I wish I could remember all their names but our Move Manager Mark Wakefield will know who they were and they were all top class and made the move day so much easier Thankyou to all of you

They were perfect in almost every way The professionalism is superb from the first very thorough and helpful video assessment of the removal to the links with one s personal coordinator helpful swift responses and guidance and then to the crew who are at the sharp end of the move I had considered other options of course But all the team here are well trained have a delightful manner and feel indeed are trustworthy It can be tempting to try any local chap with a van This van crew have been trained how to lift delicate and heavy furniture They know absolutely what to do about packing are efficient and effective My only hiccough was that they had to finish so late Moving from a third floor flat corridors and lifts to another third floor flat more corridors and lifts needs to be factored into the timing The crew kept at it remained positive and helpful throughout I wish they had started earlier and so finished earlier Would I use them again if we had to move tomorrow Definitely In my life I have moved 35 times army life etc I understand moving So do this Pickfords team PF25009432-01

What an amazingly efficient company Mr Simon Edward s was outstanding and always was in contact with up to date feedback I certainly will recommend Pickford and will only use them should I need to move my things going forward You were really top drawer my sincere thanks
