BIM Design Course Review

The learning journey was most definitely transformative on many different avenues of understanding BIM and Revit also the design process to some extent The follow along modeling exercises were very helpful in providing me with the confidence of using the software and catching up at speed The final course BIM Design is the most detailed and perfect course that i have experienced The modeling exercise of the NIO Delivery Center building was also very nice and detailed helping in understanding many minute details that are sometimes lost in very structured tutorials Those tips were very useful in our own modeling My opinion of Revit was of a very typical technical software that is time taking and hinders in the design process This was of course due to the lack of information and understanding of Revit I was aware that BIM is a workflow and not a software but it can be used to deliver projects so quickly was out of my view Now I m beginning to see the many powerful features of Revit and the nascent potential it has just opened for me personally The course has inspired me to dive deeper into the more complex modeling and design workflows that are being used across the world in leading architectural offices and top projects This was always a big question for me that how are these big names in architecture able to churn out such high quality projects constantly at a great speed I believe BIM is the answer Having already experienced the rigorous and time taking ways of using multiple softwares during my design process as an architecture student and an intern this is a hopeful new experience and finally I might make revit my go to software that can handle nearly everything Thanks for helping me broaden my understanding of Revit and the connected workflows and also making it seem easy so that we are motivated to do it at speed

Beginner friendly

I like the fact that this course is tailor made for architects keeping in mind the stages of work BIM can b intimidating especially for late beginners like me this course is made for beginners to feel at ease which was heartening and encouraging
