Gobsmacked Bought a geared starter motor for a classic MK2 escort rally car from this company as it was much cheaper than the purpose built competition units I was using that were not even lasting a season vibration was killing them I also bought a spare for the service van thinking it wouldn t last It actually did 4 whole seasons and was well out of guarantee when it died on the last event I took it apart and it was only a broken wire on the brushes I phoned on the offchance that they would sell me a set of brushes I spoke to Ed who was incredibly pleasant and helpful He told me to post it back to them and they would sort it I explained it was well out of guarantee and in a rally car he said no problem send it back 2 days later I get a brand new unit no charge They didn t even charge me for delivery Fantastic product supplied by a company that genuinely cares about it s customers I take my hat off to you You have made my day I wish there were more companies like yours Thank you

Very helpful with good honest advice

I telephoned Powerlite recently with an enquiry about a starter motor for an Austin Healey 3000 I spoke to Justin who was very helpful and provided me with all the information I required I purchased the starter motor but have not yet fitted it as the engine will be ready to go back in next month However I am confident that this will be a great improvement to the car
