Old dated and dirty
Old dated and dirty I m here now and trying to get as much leave as possibleI m currently in the hospital with my bipolar and eating disorders and thought I d write down my experience so far So on Monday I asked about clean sheets as I d been sweating during the night I was literally handed the sheets by the housekeeper who said she didn t have time Failing thst ask a nurse As I was making my bed I spotted the mould around my widows Funnily enough I ve needed an Inhaler since I ve been here I decided to clean myself and you can see the results in the pictures I was told by the maintenance guy it was just dust yet he couldn t remove it with out a mould free spray I self harm but always bandage it up I asked again for clean sheets and these were just dumped on my On the top of the wardrobe was disgusting caked which dust again bad for the chest there was also 6 coat hangers which when I was firstly admitted I wa have been tempted to use to hang myself with there s a live a snack cupboard with is useful to me being bulimic It s pot luck if there s anything in there The therapy s are amazing What I d most frightened the staff agree

I would give them no star if that was
I would give them no star if that was an option so not trust if you are a private client they breach the data protection act and share information without consent and refuse to escalate a complaint and lied about a therapist that she was in long term leave

Disappointing Experience with an Inflexible Company and Subpar Therapy
I had a terrible experience with this company that charged me when I had to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice because I fell seriously ill It s evident that this situation was beyond my control and should warrant some common-sense consideration and empathy when enforcing their cancellation policy Curiously my therapist had cancelled on me in the past with less than an hour s notice due to illness so I m baffled as to why different rules seem to apply to me resulting in a 157 charge for a session I physically couldn t attend with no fault on my part Moreover the quality of the therapy I received was subpar I was willing to give it a chance hoping it would improve over time but it amounted to 50 minutes of me talking while my therapist responded with generic comments like that sounds really difficult and that sounds great Additionally my therapist would always call late by a few minutes but always wrap up just before the hour mark For private care this level of service is utterly disappointing

Priory group tolerates bad practice by wicked nurses who yelled at patients and staff
Priory group s a very good company to work for l BUT only when management and nurses are NOT from the same country If they are other staff are always put in trouble They even shout at colleagues from different countries and when you report them management does nothing Wrong people at wrong place spoil Priory group image Racist and discrimination I am one of the staff who had been subject to humiliation shouted and yelled at Threatened to sent an HR letter not to come to work anymore This kindvof bully exist at Avesbury House Priory group and when reported nothing is done to her Imagine how it is to work over there

The staff were unqualified
The staff were unqualified medical doctors had no idea about treating mental or substance disorders Most of the counselling staff were from an addiction group like AA or NA

Shocking company to work for
Shocking company to work for lack of support as an employee expected to work with very little guidance moral boost or respect When things becoming challenging rather than face it swept it under the rug Management heavy and money making ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

Avoid horrific experience
I m a cognitive behavioural counselling psychotherapist specialising in substance dependency I was contacted by a Locum recruitment agency which normally I wouldn t touch with a bargepole Agencies tend to be in the main unethical with zero morals or integrity Against my better judgement I was hooked in by the agency 2 Recruitment who headhunted me and essentially told me that Priory Group wanted to hire me for between 40 and 50 per hour I provided all my credentials including academic qualifications enhanced DBS certificate and client testimonials The agency in question advised me that Priory Group wanted to interview me on Friday 15th March 2024 I therefore cleared my diary in order to comply being accommodating and flexible There was no interview The reason why I m leaving this review for The Priory is that I contacted several people within the organisation about this position and the interview This was on Saturday 16thMarch 2024 I ve not heard back from Priory Group They ve completely ignored my emails and efforts to make contact Priory Group like all addiction and mental health treatment centres are ruthlessly commercial and have little to no regard for the patients they serve and take extortionate amounts of money from Once I d lost multiple days of my time being wasted and without an interview Priory Group offered 35 per hour I find these practices wholeheartedly unorthodox unethical unprofessional and mercenary Think about it If this is how Priory Group treat its staff think how they must treat their patients My advice is to steer well clear and avoid at all costs

Don t ever write reviews but The Priory Roehampton is shockingly terrible
I don t usually write reviews but this place is shocking I was waiting 2 hours at reception for someone to pick me up I arrived at 6 30pm and wasn t taken to my ward until 8 30pm and then was asked right away to do a mental health assessment for an hour which isn t good that late in the day Then I was sent to my room and it wasn t clean hair in shower mould in bath carpet not hoovered dirty bed shirts bed not made on arrival The rooms and communal areas are worse than student living in terms of quality Every meal time something either either gone wrong with my order and been missing or they have missed my meal altogether and I have to keep reminding staff that I need my meal that hasn t been delivered The Morning Walk on Day 3 that was on the schedule hasn t happened even though I ve been reminding staff for the last hour I ve been waiting and despite being an informal patient who self-admitted here due to several assaults court cases and family bereavements I am not allowed to go for walks or leave the grounds due to being a new patient and needing to see a doctor for a full assessment before I m allowed I am voluntarily here and not suicidal yet in a ward with many people who have been sectioned to be here and I am being treated as if I have been sectioned constantly interrupted with knocking on my door to check I haven t killed myself even though every patient here says this lack of privacy does nothing for their mental health as it s clear they are only doing this to make sure we don t kill ourselves on their watch Not only that but the 2 sessions I went to yesterday were tips for managing depression and anxiety which were very basic targeted more for children even though everyone in the room were sane intelligent adults who are here due to trauma The Care Quality Commission needs an urgent re-assessment of the standards of The Priory
