Absolutely shocking experience
Absolutely shocking experience We contacted our boiler cover Your Repair on Tuesday to inform them our central heating wasn t working no hot water or heating Eventually two days later we get a visit from an engineer from the Property Dr Ltd The engineer does a temporary fix but informs us we need a new diverter valve He says he will get the repair authorised via Your Repair and be back later that day to fix it On Thursday evening we have been left with no heating as the diverter valve has completely seized We contacted Your Repair only to be told that the Property Dr engineer hasn t even been back intouch with them to report on the job so no update on our job no authorisation has been given and no part ordered We spent all day Friday calling Your Repair and the Property Dr being batted from one to the other and each blaming the other Property Dr saying Your Repair take too long to authorise the jobs Your repair saying the Property Dr engineer failed to report back to them and discuss the job 6 pm Friday night and no exaggeration 10 phone calls later from us chasing both of them not them updating us and we are assured the part has been ordered and will be fitted by the Property Dr engineer on Monday between 9am and 5pm No narrow time scale can be given This will now be 6 days without hot water or heating in the middle of winter with a small child and dog in the house Why are we paying for boiler repair cover Why are Your Repair contracting such a terrible company The worst part The diverter valve costs 80 00 from screw fix which is 3 miles away from out house And Property Dr are based in Aylesbury And screw fix have two in stock ready for immediate collection So we will plug it in ourselves with no engineering experience because by all accounts that is all that is required However we are told we won t be reimbursed or covered for our boiler as we haven t waited for the gas engineer to complete the job I have phone Your Repair again Saturday morning as we are now in minus temperatures and are considering staying in a hotel until Monday to be told there is nothing they can do What a complete joke They are totally in breech of our cover contract so we will take this to a small claims court and between the two companies they can pay for the part and the hotel Stay well away We went with British Gas before and no issues Report one day fixed the next If you do your research you will see that Property Dr had awful reviews when all they did was gas engineering they have expanded changed their name and therefore these reviews are not necessarily a true reflection Although they are still not doing particularly well under they new name Some of the call reps are so awful manner wise I actually wonder if they are on work experience from high school Update The part was fitted by my husband in 5 minutes Less than the time it took to de ice the car to drive the 3 miles to collect the part

Liars
Liars liars liars Had a landlord safety inspection in which me and another person was present for and here are their failings -1 Said everything had passed a safety inspection no concerns no advisory s on safety certificate no issues at all Then when we found an issue as soon as they left the property they refused to come back and rectify it They said we had a fault well they didn t tell us that they didn t document this as an advisory and didn t fail the gas safety check which is what any gas registered person would have done They LIED because all working just fine and I sent them proof of photo to show them no issues They just didn t want to come back and fix the issue we had LIARS2 We had a gas engineer come out name withheld he did the safety inspection yet the certificate and the check sheet we were given was signed by someone who wasn t even at the inspection and wasn t the person who did the inspection - FRAUD I believe this is 3 Our energy provider arranged this gas safety check and I will do aReview of them shortly we complained to the energy provider who didn t give a damn Even when we sent evidence they didn t care Thus leaving a vulnerable disabled person without cooking appliances for 4 days Not even an apology they just took this cowboy firms word Sadly this company lieDo not trust themDo not part with your money Totally disgraceful service Please use another company because quite frankly the paperwork given to us is invalid Read all the reviews on here about this company because they are disgraceful

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE Following a water leak our insurance company appointed Property Dr Ltd to repair the pipe which we had already lifted the floorboards and located for them The engineer arrived and after a VERY brief 1 minute glance said I can t do that you need track and trace He proceeded to pace up and down outside on the phone to his office for 5 minutes before returning and saying I ve spoken to my boss and I can t do it you re not insured anyway I m going to my next job He left us with no running water and closed the job The insurance company were appalled and have reported them Thankfully our local plumber turned up within an hour and fixed the leak Avoid at all costs a plumber that won t plumb I ve heard it all now

Dreadful company
Dreadful company If I could give 0 stars I would After waiting for 3 days for a response to my emergency insurance call out sedgwick sent an engineer plumber from The Property Dr Ltd to do a temporary repair to the leak which was coming through my landing ceiling from the cold water tank in the loft He just looked through the hatch and took a photo and said he d be back shortly with a part or something to fix it We never saw him again He was completely clueless didn t even know what plumbers maite was After 3 hours we rang Sedgwick to ask what was going on and they told us the engineer reported back that the leak was unrepairable due to a crack in the tank and we would need a new tank which was not what he told us We managed to do a temporary repair ourselves and when we called a real plumber he managed to repair our tank and told us there was no crack and just needed a new part and now it s as good as new DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE COWBOYS AND LIARS AVOID AT ALL COSTS
