I ordered the qidi x-smart 3
I ordered the qidi x-smart 3 and have had nothing but problems from the very start The hardware for this machine is very nice but the execution of the firmware was done poorly The induction style auto leveling system is poorly implemented and should have been a strain style or a pressure pad in the bed The updates are done pretty unprofessionally through a drive file from there website The build plate is so rough that it has dips in it that are 1-2 layers deep and are the cause of adhesion issues The auto level system cant even calculate the z offset which is its main function and you have to adjust it at the start of prints which could take a couple attempts and leads to material waste The machine is very fast which is nice but if all the systems don t work correctly that s a non point The only nice thing i can really say is that Karl in the after sales department is helpful and responded to all my messages and tried to help me get the machine working I was sent parts that seem like they are sent out so that the customers can test them for the company and since i use my printers for my business I don t have time to be doing R D for this machine My opinion of this machine is that it is unfinished and should not have been released in the state it is in especially from a company that has been around as long as qidi I received this machine on May 3 and have had problems with it since I am posting this here because qidi won t post the ones I ve tried to leave on their website and i think it should be available to other people so they don t end up with the same problems I ve been having

Horrible advertising and customer service
Website said shipping within 48 hours I have been waiting for 5 days and order still in their position Customer service takes forever to respond and just gives excuses without action Shipped 8 days later and will not arrive on time because it takes another 8 days to arrive I am requesting cancellation of my order and refund but no response yet even though its daytime in China I told them I will reject the shipment since they didn t meet their promise and now they are saying they will refund it once it gets back to them A process that should have taken a week to finish takes a month to resolve Very difficult customer service and I only got headache from them Also there is no domestic phone number to call

Bought a 3D printer
Bought a 3D printer It arrived broken and not printing Sent me a bunch of things to try and spent hours up on hours trying to get to work Asked for a return and got a series of emails offering me 30 or 50 credit - when I insisted it does not work They told me it was heavy and I needed to pay returns shipping Scam of a company Avoid Buy elsewhere

Firmware update failed help unable to recover
I want a fast printing 3D printer user friendly and faster than my other printers with no need to optimize or change hardware and compile own firmware as usual in Marlin So I bought a qidi xmax3 After downloading the actual slicer from qidi I got a suggestion to update Firmware to actual 4 13 5 Followed the steps in qidi wiki and printer is down klippy not connected no more function Contacting support some suggestions were given from there one E Mail per day and they send me a new emmc with a software image to boot that should solve the problem But it contains the same old firmware so the problem start again They ordered me to open the printer and manipulate the electronic well I m a rocket scientist boot again and No change Now 14 days later they send me another file to boot the printer and reset it but NO CHANGE Finally the asked me today if I COULD MAKE A VIDEO of the steps I did to resolve the problem Ha I m NOT George Lucas Conclusion quidi software is totally bugged and they are not able to resolve problems The printer might be OK but electronics and this very special version of klipper is not user friendly

The Q1 pro machine l purchas failed
The Q1 pro machine l purchased failed after 2 weeks The after sales people kept telling me they could resolve my problem They sent me parts to repair They were the wrong parts They sent me videos Of the wrong machine They have no intention of refunding or exchanging They have been stringing me on for another 2 weeks I am now using the VISA guarantee scheme to get a refund I hope this works out for me I am sure VISA will not be happy about refunding from companies bad practices

QIDI Tech are Scammers if there are any issues you will not get a replacement or refund and lose your 3D printer leaving you with nothing
QIDI Tech are Scammers do not purchase anything from their online stores uk qidi3d com eu qidi3d com and qidi3d com They do not abide by their terms of service or any consumer laws and will do anything to circumvent any return process and will not refund or replace a product and will do their absolute best to defraud you Firstly I am physically disabled and have multiple physical illnesses due to my disabilities I have a limited income I really wanted to get in to 3D printing for some rehabilitation and to learn a new skill I was really excited at this prospect and did a lot of research on 3D printers After lots of reading I settled on a QIDI Q1 Pro I came across the QIDI UK store which is uk qidi3d com I checked everything on that store and read reviews checked the terms and conditions before I made a purchase QIDI Tech s online store for the UK uk qidi3d com states the following Get Hassle-Free Returns and has the following terms and conditions Qidi Tech accepts returns for Qidi 3D printers within 30 days of receipt of delivery without any reasons The Return Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning Buyer s purchase If the return is caused by logistics damage product problems wrong goods and any seller s fault Qidi Tech will bear the shipping cost otherwise Buyer bears the shipping cost The website clearly stated that this item is in stock in the UK and will be shipped to me from the UK So I purchased a QIDI Q1 Pro Order QIDI29712 The QIDI Q1 Pro arrived with me within a couple of days With the help of friends and family we carefully unboxed the 3D Printer we all noticed that there were several issues with the printer firstly the door would not open and close as it would hit the printer and that the display bezel front decal has adhesive oozing out of the sides My friend who came over to assist with the unboxing has 15 years of experience with 3D printing and told me that this product is faulty and the chassis is distorted causing the door to not open and close as everything is out of alignment we decided to not to setup this product and we took photographs and put everything back in the box I immediately contacted QIDI through email addresses given with the product and on their website and explained the situation with the product and requested a replacement 3D Printer QIDI kept refusing a replacement and kept offering a 20 refund and keep the product I declined this offer multiple times as I do not want a defective product This went on for several email exchanges I originally would have accepted a replacement but they were ignoring that so I requested a full refund for the product which I am entitled to do under consumer law and QIDI Tech s terms and conditions I stopped receiving any response to my emails and QIDI Tech ignored any further e-mails I sent As I purchased this product through PayPal I contacted them to explain what had happened PayPal opened up a dispute and then they contacted QIDI Tech to respond After some time PayPal informed me that QIDI Tech agreed to a refund but I have to return the item to them this part should be straightforward however this is where QIDI tried their absolute best to circumvent any returns process try to use loopholes and defraud me QIDI informed PayPal that I was to arrange a courier and return this product to an address in China even though the item was shipped to me from the UK this is a well known trick by companies operating in China as they know that an item of this size and weight cannot be shipped from the UK to China and even if it could be shipped the shipping costs would cost 3-4x the value of this item And there is a high risk of the tracking not following the item all the way to the end destination or the seller refusing delivery Also QIDI Tech clearly state on their website that QIDI Tech would bear the shipping cost and supply a return label I started emailing QIDI Tech and requested a return label and quoted their terms and conditions Eventually I had a reply offering a return label but they said they would only send the return label if I cancel the PayPal dispute which is blackmail Eventually I got a return label from QIDI Tech and a courier arrived to collect the Q1 Pro 3D printer from my address The 3D printer was collected and I have pictures of the 3D printer and the package including the return label that was affixed securely to the box I also have CCTV of the collection The address on the return label is a UK address I tracked the return and it was refused multiple times by QIDI Tech Now that tracking number no longer exists and I have not received a refund If I do not receive a full refund from QIDI TechI will file a report with Action Fraud Trading Standards and PayPal I will update my review if I get a refund

I purchased a qidi x plus 3 a few
I purchased a qidi x plus 3 a few months ago it worked great for the first few prints then the bed started warping so badly the printer was unable to do a decent first layer the support people are terrible like talking to a brick wall and flat refused to refund the machine save your money and buy a bambu lab

Defective product full of hassle refund terrible customer support
Bought X-Plus 3 with extra pair of nozzles on 25 10 2024 Updated the printer printed first test print 3dBenchy and that was all The next start printer did not worked anymore so contacted the customer support on 8 11 2024 Got refund just today 13 2 2025 As it took more than 100 emails to Qidi plus another communication with the courier GLS and PayPal won t be able to go into much details here Average response from QIDI is 1 email per day The customer representatives make it worse by accusing me of installing on the machine third party software so it took some time days when they realized that it is a hardware issue I have requested return and refund process to start immediately but the customer care staff tried everything possible to keep me the defect They offered me random parts then 200 eur I can understand that they want to keep customer but this is extreme even for China Got refunded from many other Chinese businesses previously but this treatment is unacceptable for me Then we finally agreed and Qidi even provided and paid the return label I have packed the printer took it into the GLS courier parcel shop The guy who took the parcel of my hand told me that the courier is there everyday to collect deliveries It took 2 weeks to get that printer collected GLS got own review from me after the first week of waiting This may not be QIDI responsible for it is just highly suspicious I have also opened a case with PayPal which escalated into the claim during that 2 weeks while the printer was resting in the GLS parcel shop The claim was closed then in the seller favor because the printer was on the way to EU warehouse and not to Chinese address provided by the seller and his registered address on that PayPal account PayPal then blocked refund from the seller for another 10 days This is not actually QIDI problem The printer arrived into QIDI location Germany 19 12 2024 When PayPal unlocked the transaction for refund then just Chinese New Year not blaming QIDI for holidays then Annie customer support send me message that I will have to wait another week or two because she is ill So I had to send another x messages to different contacts they have even created a facebook profile and beg for my money once again 3 days ago got another promise that I will be refunded within 2 days After those two days last promise TODAY The refund for the printer is with PP The nozzles haven t been refunded because I have opened the package in which they arrived to check the content of the package Highly valuable and painful lesson End of PayPal for me End of shopping from businesses from which I won t be able to claim refund in Europe Thank you Qidi One star is for the return label

Plus4 arrived with z-offset problems
Plus4 arrived with z-offset problems and belts out of alignment Qidi has given me nothing but trouble so far in trying to get spare parts So I escalated to replacement as the printer is sold as 10 minute setup for high precision printing out of the box Emma has gaslit me about bad layers being good first layers and about belts supposed to be riding the flanges So I have escalated to a full refund and PayPal dispute If you really think that Qidi has the right printer for you Buy it From Amazon or somewhere where you will not have to deal with Qidi to get solutions or a refund AVOID You have been warned

Great customer service and great product in every way
Our company recently purchased a Qidi CX Pro 3D printer We are new to 3D printing and needed some technical guidance quickly After trawling over the web and getting conflicting information I contacted Qidi at 8 16am this morning expecting a reply at best within a few days I got an initial reply with good clear answers at 8 38am 22 mins later I have had two more exchanges since I think this is a great service The machine itself is every bit as robust as the reviews say it is We are an engineering company so know what to look for in an engineered product and this is really nicely constructed with a really nice tactile feel to it no sharp edges etc One of the major feature in the construction is the linear Guideways these are industrial standard in all axes and are very precise and that will be where the accuracy that other reviews rave about come from One final point I hate it when you get the free tool kit that you have paid for and it is the cheapest most useless garbage you could get the tool kit with this machine is comprehensive and beautiful quality and in a box to keep everything together Order number No AA2 L2 K3 53-0E9 F Paul S Nottinghamshire
