Poor service handover and standards
Following arranging finance for a car we arranged that we would collect the car on the Monday allowing the company a few days to prep the car etc Arriving Monday morning after 10 30 the sales person was surprised to see us which was not a surprise to me as the car was still up for sale and not prepped or cleaned Although the money had been transfered days before so the sale had been completed We arranged a PX with another sales person who viewed the PX car and he started it up we agreed on a price following me pointing out all know faults to me We completed the transfer of the car and the car was brought around we got in where I found the radio was on theft lock sales person know nothing of this or how to sort it And asked us to come back following our trip away Once the car was at home I looked over the tyres and shocked to find that the 2 front ones was to me at legal limit I took it to my local garage who confirmed this so I change the tyres at a cost of 260 I did not expect to buy a car and spend money hours later to make it road legal esp the garage knowing that we had children in car When I brought this to the attention of the garage All they could do was complain about the PX stating about a part that was not working that I have not heard of let alone known not working although the cars drives well and started It was stated that the fly wheel and clutch was HANGING OUT which I did not think was possible However this was down to them not checking the car before they PX it I spent over 5k and I expect that car to be road worthy at the time of sale I have never dealt with such a poor excuse for a dealership we have now agreed to hand the car back and now they are arguing over the millage where they stated it was over 79k on the advert and paperwork but it reality it is 76k to them we have driven over 700 miles in 15 days really

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs sold me a car with a false MOT and a not so fresh oil change the MOT certificate they provided me with on receipt of the sale was a pass with no advisories however a few days after the purchase of the vehicle I noticed a binding noise from the rear wheels and I then took it to my local garage to have a look for me and they told me it needed front and rear pads and discs as they were not in a serviceable condition and the offside rear brake was badly binding pictures below at this point I asked them to check the car over throughly for me as I d just bought it and if it had a recent oil change and they confirmed the engine oil had not been changed for some time and an exhaust bracket needed welding they also replaced a number plate light bulb so I had to pay for these repairs that I was not made aware of after that I checked the MOT history online and found out that some of the needed repairs and all advisories had not been carried out at all however they were taken off the MOT pass certificate provided to me since then I have had to pay for a new radiator and an air conditioning compressor unit which has cost me more then 1200 Chris the sales man lied to my face about the oil change and the MOT pass certificate Chris confirmed to my face at the time that it went through the MOT with no repairs or advisories and a fresh oil change had been carried out however this was not the case at all and its cost me and my wife a fortune please see the copy of the MOT fail underneath and the state of the breaks on the car they sold to me these could easily of failed on the motorway back home and caused a serious accident due to severe arthritis I am unable to carry out any physical tests myself and of course took the word of a reputable car dealer that the car sold to me was road worthy but this car dealer should not be trusted I m happy to provide garage bills invoices and MOT certificates to prove this car dealership is not fit for trading they have refused to take responsibility for selling me a car not fit for purpose and have threatened me in an email with legal action if I wish to make my experience with them public Repair immediately major defects Exhaust system insecure rear bracket detached 6 1 2 a Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn rear bush 5 3 4 a i Offside Front Lower Suspension arm ball joint excessively worn 5 3 4 a i Offside Rear Service brake excessively binding 1 2 1 f Repair as soon as possible minor defects Registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of multiple lamps or light sources 4 7 1 b i Monitor and repair if necessary advisories front and rear brake discs rusty
