I ordered a Racechip for my car It arrived quickly well within the expected time frame My car was then condemned by a local garage so I sought to return the Racechip I phoned they were great - really helpful - no issues Sent it back at nil cost got my money back very quickly Can t speak for the product only because I didn t get the chance to use it but 100 on customer service and customer care

Dyno d two separate sessions on my Jag V8S Increased wheel horsepower from 475 to 534 and after a 6 supercharger pulley to 555 WHP Peak Torque increased from 460 to 502 then to 520 after the pulley Racehip advertised peak gain not to be confused with peak HP gain was spot on and 75 HP Has been perfectly reliable with no issues for a year now

power torque and mpg all improved amazing
instantly notice the power different and especially the mid range power I have a 2 litre diesel and the torque increase is perfet my car was sitting at 131bhp prior to this and after dhino it is showing 165bhp which is in increase of over 30 the mpg has alos gone up and im pretty sure ive been doing a little speed runs to test the diffence so would expect my average mpg to go dwon yet its gone up bery imrpressed

Even an I30 can be made to be a hoon machine
Ok folks I have 2012 Hyundai I30 6 speed diesel with a Race chip box hell this car is a real beast my son s friends made jokes about him driving an I30 wiped the smile off their faces beats the Mazda 3 and corollas on trips the consumption is very low also I30 GD auto my wife drives it took the chip out and she abused the hell out of me had to put the chip back in has been in since May 2014 Best money ever spent on trying to improve an I30

Simple install noticeable difference
Looking more at the better mpg I d be getting than the overall power increase persuaded me this was an economical upgrade Everything arrived promptly via UPS and the instructions made fitting a straightforward process From opening the box to firing up took less than 30 minutes mpg on my 150-mile round trip has gone from 41mpg to 50mpg in similar conditions and at similar speeds

I have a golf with the 1 9 pd130 engine I have the basic race chip and is set to one jumper off of maximum The car is a lot more responsive with better fuel economy I have had it installed a while so this is a genuine review for reliability too I noticed someone with the same vehicle has given it a low review All I can say is it has worked great for me

Fitted the racechip rs model on my 335i and was blown away by how much power this box gave me on max setting I know on my car the internals are forged and can handle upto 650hp so no worry with this chip setting Fuel consumption I m not sure about as I have not had a chance to measure it over a distance of 50 miles Will return with my findings It s a 100 yes from me
