Terrible service unusable goods delivered weeks too late
Took nearly 2 months for this company to send the seeds out after countless ignored emails and website messages sent Best thing irony alert was when the seeds did arrive they were completely unfit for purpose as not one of them actually germinated or grew or developed even a tiny shoot AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS You have been warned

Let me start by saying something positive about this company So far I ve been relatively successful at germinating most of the seeds I ordered on that webpage which suggests that their seeds are relatively fresh Plus they have a very large selection of seeds and recently nicely updated their webpage making it much more user friendly than it used to be Let me continue by saying something negative This is the absolute last time I order seeds from that company Their customer service is below garbage Seeds I ordered in March 2021 as a gift to my mother not only arrived weeks after I placed the order from Germany where the store is located to Switzerland a neighboring country it was only supposed to take up to 2 weeks but took over 6 weeks and only because I contacted them but they changed the order without contacting me They replaced the Adansonia grandieri seeds EU only with Adansonia perrieri seeds under the pretext that the grandidieri cannot be shipped to the USA which is my payment address as I live here while the shipping address was Switzerland all along Moreover the perrieri seeds 8 55 are much cheaper than the grandidieri ones 17 35 I was ready to let that slide had they corrected their mistake so I contacted them 3 times per email at mail at rarepalmseeds dot com over the course of a month giving them plenty of time to answer They just ignored every single message Finally after contacting them through their contact form on their webpage I receive a dry answer saying that they cannot ship the grandidieri seeds to the USA Once more the shipping address was Switzerland all along and when I mentioned that in my answer still they completely ignored me Today was my last message to them unless they answer in the next 3 days before initiating legal procedures and contacting the german better business bureau to lodge a complaint I encourage every one that had issues with them to do the same Google verbraucherzentrale dot de and click under beschwerde Use google translate to help you fill in the different categories This is by far the worse customer service has ever gone

Horrific quality
I bought many melastomataceae seeds for 120 euros 1 year ago And 99 99 did not germinate at all They sell old seeds Normally I m great at germinating but from their seeds almost none germinated at all Horrible They most likely knowingly sell very old seeds that will never germinate I ve heard this many times DO NOT BUY HERE Horrible scammers On top of that they posponed the order for weeks I had to call and email 5 times after already paying Terrible terrible

Avoid this place like the plague I can t make this any more clear Why It took three and a half months for my seeds to arrive A quarter of an entire year Then when it did it was all good right No not at all I wouldn t be here if thats all that it was With no notice zero contact of any sort they changed my order and sent me different seeds without my consent Very expensive and unique seeds too I paid AUD 95 00 for 5 seeds almost half the value of the entire order and of course those were the ones they just swapped out They instead sent me some other genuinely worthless garbage plant that is completely different in every way to the plant I ordered The seeds I wanted are still in stock on their website so they just didnt want to send me what I paid for apparently so they completely scammed on that one Damn Can t get much worse than that ey Oh but it can I also bought a wholesale pack of 100 seeds And so they sent a pack that said 100 on it But how many of those 100 did they actually send 13 They sent me 13 seeds out of that 100 Thats 13 of what a paid for Or in other words they stole 87 of my money on those seeds I suppose its slightly better than 99 loss on the other ones they swapped out Sigh And the cherry on top Literal non-existant customer service once they have your money I have a had zero replies to over 10 emails over many weeks My money is officially gone it would seem Long story short of a AUD 200 00 order they sent me half the value of that and I waited a quarter of a year for the pleasure Never again Do not buy seeds from these scammers if you have been smart enough to research first

Confiscation and Destroyed Shipment
After being asked to get a USDA permit which I did for a seed shipment to Hawaii USA order was shipped within a couple weeks Waited a month after the parcel arrived in NYC for the package to arrive USPS to blame No I found an empty package with an intercept and destroy notification from the USDA permit notwithstanding Rare Palm Seeds did not provide the correct information for USDA review nor my permit apparently within the shipment so 132 Euros down the tubes So far no response to multiple emails 6 weeks of waiting for an empty package This entity is terrible caveat emptor

You dont have a zero star
You dont have a zero star what a pity I ordered seeds which took 18 days along time to come from Germany we are in the UK there were various excuses given but the gist of this is I had my son waiting to take them back to Panama it is very simple and no hassle to take them in your luggage as a private person Of course he left on the 18th January still no seeds so when they finally turned up I sent them by DHL and they were confiscated and destroyed as they deem this a commercial import so I paid for seeds which were delayed as it was Christmas then holidays and finaly had them destroyed what a waste Had someone been efficient and on the ball they would be in seed trays in Panama

No replies to any of my emails shocking customer service i received a blunt rude message from someone on messenger after being ignored for weeks not even a confirmation of order this is a LARGE order and i have no idea if its been dispatched or not Youve basically taken my money and ran if i dont hear from you in the next 48 hours i will be opening a claim to get a refund
