Excellent Online Experience

Surprised to see so many negative reviews of RCI bank I ve been using them for years without any issues although I have to admit I ve never had to contact their customer service I like the fact that they are among the quickest to raise interest rates and they do this for all customers not just the new ones There are also no gotchas in the form of introductory rates for 12 months then reverting to something uncompetitive Shame so many customers are having a bad experience with their customer service

Been with them for a while regarding fixed rate bonds Haven t had any problems whatsoever Their online facilities are very good Never had to phone them so cannot comment regarding this

Historically quick to raise interest rates although a bit tardy recently Their 1 year fixed rate bond is not so attractive at the moment as some others I have rarely had to phone customer services as all of my needs have been dealt with online I have been with RCI for a few years now and have a number of accounts with them

Excellent experience Ignore the bad reviews

Well after all the terrible reviews I felt I had to come on here and say what a fabulous experience I have just had with Customer services at RCI I made a mistake when depositing some money to my newly opened account I was dreading phoning them this morning after reading all the bad reviews Well I can t speak highly enough about them It took literally 1 minute to speak to a human customer service agent who was brilliant She was friendly and extremely helpful I told her I was dreading phoning after reading all the reviews and she said as has been stated here it was due to the unprecedented amount of interest they had after Martin Lewis mentioned them back in Oct November last year So people don t be put off by all the negative views I have found The whole process easy and pleasant Applying was easy and yes there was a little wait for the paperwork to be approved but I can t speak highly enough if my experience

Update interest rate on savings regularly and keep you informed Excellent prompt Customer service when I have needed to phone them unlike ns i which is appalling

I have dealt with RCI bank for a several years I have found them very helpful The staff are excellent and solved a recent problem for me amazingly quickly They are reliable and very friendly

Had two occasions I needed to contact customer services in relation to a new account and got though very quickly both times Much faster than other better known banks I suspect a lot of the problems referred to in these reviews are historic but sometimes a bad reputation is difficult to turn round
