I reported a leaking roof to the council in July 2021 literally days after they had removed scaffolding that had been in place for over a year Here we are in December 2023 and guess what Yep roof still leaking This council are about as much use as a Chocolate Fireguard If i were housed by a private landlordthey would have been fined by now Of course the problem with Redbridge council is it is run by a man who is more interested in getting his nose in the Westminster trough than he is in running an efficient council If the country is going to be run by the National Labour Party as this council is by the Local Labour Group then we are really in deep sh

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC OLD AGE BRITISH STANDARDS Just like everything else about this country the councils are stuck in the 40s where everything is paper and slow and passes the buck to you Recently moved recently bought a car - car obviously registered at my previous address so they wont take my new resident parking permit even though I can show council tax drivers licence HOUSE OWNERSHIP of my new property They say I cant prove I am a resident o the bourogh due to my car being under a different address when I bought the car the month before I moved Comig from a much more progressive country i can believe the issues i face living in England WW2 was 80 years ago British might hasn t been a thing since then

not the best council i have lived here 25 years and its been been progressively getting worse and worse The roads are in a poor state with potholes the footpaths on the streets arent cleaned and often rubbish lingers there for upto a week or more But the council are excellent when it comes to taking peoples money with parking tickets etc My reason for writing this review however was the lady i spoke to when it came to me registering my marriage didn t seem like she cared and constantly saying yh yh yh yh to cut me off so she could end the call early without resolving my issues

The Whole of Housing Department is useless and just waste of tax payers money They are so rude and unprofessional They speak as they own the Redbridge Council or paying from there pockets to needy people I would say from Top to bottom they are corrupt and wasting time and money They should employ educated people or train them accordingly that people calling you guys for assistance are not beggars and what services they are providing is paid but not a charity work

I d give no stars if I could Absolutely shocking council Have been charging us double council tax for an empty home for nearly 2 years even though we have repeatedly responded to letters to advise otherwise We ve even had visits from the council yet this information does not get passed from department to department As for contacting them good luck they avoid answering the phone like the plague and automatically direct you to their crappy website When you send emails the automatic response is that they will get back to you within 10 working days MAYBE If I had owed them any money they would be on me like flies around s t

Redbridge council are crooks

Redbridge council are crooks They put up various different signage to catch people out I ve had parking tickets from Redbridge unlike any other borough Full of crooks They are the worst Only recently they gave me a ticket for not paying correctly The meter covered with something and the parking sign clearly stating to use pay by phone I had almost 20mins left for my parking when appealing they ve said I didn t send the money to the correct place Now who s fault is that if the machine isn t working and has the same number as the roadside sign who s fault is it I can t wait to not have to do any kind of business in Redbridge work or other The council is corrupt and unavailable to speak to anyone It s disgusting how they treat people They ve bot only taken my monet for parking but now want me to pay a fine at the end of the day I ve not parked up for free I paid Disgusting Newham way better had a similar issue and they said the signage wasn t clear unknowing customers parking up getting caught out Disgusting I m sick of Redbridge council behaving all high and mighty

Council Yellow Boxes

I drove through Redbridge as part of a journey and got scammed by the council yellow box junction It s impossible to see the box until you are inside it then you are forced to try to get to the other side - but strategically there is an end of road junction the other side - so you are pretty guaranteed to get stuck - unless you know the scam is there When will these govt criminals be stopped

BP Snakes Lane East

This Council still think it s ok to have an unsupervised hand car wash at the BP petrol station where residential homes surround it who have hired illegal workers U K Home came here and made arrests who only earn cash in hand so probably don t pay their taxes and claim benefits on the side They fix their cars here probably to earn separate sideline cash have smoked here I have all this evidence 15 years now I ve had these people under my home 7 days a week using multiple high-powered vibrating water jets industrial size hoover the size of small children shouting slamming customer car doors customers conversation and kids running around cars queuing up and beeping because they block up the petrol station entrance and Redbridge Council are the ones who gave planning permission for this car wash to be here over THREE DECADES ago and do NOTHING to monitor it s conduct or ops ZERO

Has to be the worst borough I ve ever lived in No responses from call line website is a SHAMBLE with confusing and conflicting information it s simply like they don t care Can you please get someone competent to raise the current standards because it is bottom low Redbridge A little competency is all a humble resident asks for Absolute shamble
