Bad customer service
Bad customer service no response for a month My sauna is not working waiting for a response for a long time I am not able to use the sauna for over a month now I don t think they care much after selling the product

We love our backyard circuit from Redwood Outdoors The barrel sauna is wonderful holds 190 F during winter temps well below freezing The cold plunge is equally fantastic We love the vertical seating and damn it s cold We have had a couple of small challenges that the RO s customer service team immediately fixed This is a company that clearly stands behind it s high quality products and cares about it s customers If you are looking for a barrel sauna and or cold plunge you will be thrilled with Redwood Outdoors

Great kit and great help
The kit was easy to put together and when we did have to call them it was easy to get ahold of someone and get answers we needed We did have a professional install the stove wood since we didn t want to cut into it ourselves I did give the company feedback on their shingle kit which I hope they improve in the future Shingles were fine but I think there is room for improvement in the shingle kit The sauna itself has been great I was worried with how cold it gets here that a sauna without insulation would take forever to heat up and would burn through a lot of wood That is not the case We cut down an extra tree this fall and have been using the sauna at least 3 times a week all winter and have plenty of wood leftover For one session if we want to run it really hot we have used about 6 small pieces of wood and that is plenty on a cold day If you aren t super handy like myself get yourself at least two other folks to help you put it together and give yourself at least a couple days If you get the shingles I suggest installing them when it s warm sunny out so they have a chance to stick properly At first we tightened the straps too much and the door wouldn t close so be aware of that if you run into this problem Loosening the straps fixed this problem right away When it was delivered the box was too large to fit on the liftgate so I was glad we had extra folks around since we had to unload the box piece by piece out of the delivery truck Something to ask about consider when scheduling delivery We did have a couple of spots we caulked after assembly but they were minor and easy enough to take care of So far we have enjoyed it emensly and appreciate this company If you are going to get a kit like this get it from these folks
